Liam Hoare writes: “One mustn’t exaggerate the problem; British society is largely free of the anti-Semitic virus. But the way the right wing in particular talks about Ed Miliband does come back to an old British malady: our problem with otherness. We have a problem with living next door to immigrants, or sitting on a train and hearing people speak a language other than English. We have a problem with foreign nationals who receive treatment for free from the National Health Service. And, we have a problem with the idea of a prime minister who doesn’t know how to eat his bacon sandwiches.”
By contrast, Jews love strangers in their midst.
Katie Hopkins writes for The Sun newspaper of London:
No, I don’t care. Show me pictures of coffins, show me bodies floating in water, play violins and show me skinny people looking sad.
I still don’t care.
Because in the next minute you’ll show me pictures of aggressive young men at Calais, spreading like norovirus on a cruise ship.
Watching them try to clamber on to British lorries and steal their way into the UK, do I feel pity? Only for the British drivers, who get hit with a fine every time one of this plague of feral humans ends up in their truck.
Understand this, these two populations are the same. The migrants harassing Brit truckers at the port are the same as the vagrants making the perilous trip across the Med.
And there is no stopping them. 170,000 came last year.
During a recent operation by the Italian coastguard to rescue migrants off the coast of Libya, the people traffickers threatened crew with Kalashnikovs to get their vessel back.
Clearly, boats are in short supply. And that is a good thing. No boats, no migrants.
There is a simple solution to this. It’s time for the Italians to stop singing opera, drinking espresso and looking chic in chuffing everything.
It’s time to get Australian.
Australians are like British people but with balls of steel, can-do brains, tiny hearts and whacking great gunships.
Their approach to migrant boats is the sort of approach we need in the Med.
They threaten them with violence until they bugger off, throwing cans of Castlemaine in an Aussie version of sharia stoning.
And their approach is working. Migrant boats have halved in number since Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott got tough.
We don’t need another rescue project. The now defunct £7million-a-month Mare Nostrum — Italy’s navy search and rescue operation — was paid for (in part) by British taxpayers.
And we don’t need a campaign from Save the Children to encourage more migrants to take the journey.
What we need are gunships sending these boats back to their own country.
You want to make a better life for yourself? Then you had better get creative in Northern Africa.
Britain is not El Dorado. We are not Elysium. Some of our towns are festering sores, plagued by swarms of migrants and asylum seekers, shelling out benefits like Monopoly money.
Make no mistake, these migrants are like cockroaches. They might look a bit ‘Bob Geldof’s Ethiopia circa 1984′, but they are built to survive a nuclear bomb. They are survivors.
Once gunships have driven them back to their shores, boats need to be confiscated and burned on a huge bonfire.
Drilling a few holes in the bottom of anything suspiciously resembling a boat would be a good idea, too, just for belt and braces.
Unless we take the emotion out of this and start connecting the migrants in the Med with the Africans clinging to trucks in Calais, we cannot deliver an appropriate response.
If you think rescue boats are a good idea, you may as well set up a Libya to Italy P&O ferry service and send your taxes to Africa by direct debit for good measure.
Or if you think like me, then it’s time to get Australian. Bring on the gunships, force migrants back to their shores and burn the boats.
As it turns out, I do care. I care passionately about British truckers and taxpayers in the UK.
David Irving could only afford to represent himself as he went up against Deborah Lipstadt’s generously funded legal team.

Tabletmag.com: In 1996, British Holocaust revisionist David Irving sued Deborah E. Lipstadt, author of Denying the Holocaust: The Growing Assault on Truth & Memory, for libel. The book, published in 1993, depicts “those who insist that the death of six million Jews in Nazi concentration camps is nothing but a hoax perpetrated by a powerful Zionist conspiracy.” Among “the province of pseudohistorians,” wrote Lipstadt, was David Irving.
The case closed in 2000, and six years later, Lipstadt published History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier, which depicts her legal battle with Irving. (Lipstadt wrote The Eichmann Trial for Nextbook Press, part of its Jewish Encounter Series).
Yesterday it was announced that Lipstadt’s book had been adapted by British playwright David Hare, who won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Hours.
Hilary Swank, who won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role as a bad-ass boxer in Clint Eastwood’s Million Dollar Baby (2004), will play Lipstadt. Tom Wilkinson, who played crime lord Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins, will play a barrister.
The role of David Irving is yet to be cast.
Jeremy Egerer writes: That an openly white nationalist magazine like American Renaissance could have only a limited impact upon a mixed-breed half-Hispanic like me (although I identify as white) is understandable. Dozens of horror stories throughout the year about Hispanics can go only so far when a man already has a large and industrious and charitable Hispanic family. But the fact that American Renaissance has so many horror stories about them at all is what matters. A nearly total silence from the mainstream media for years involving any atrocities committed by blacks or Arabs or Hispanics, and you suddenly begin to realize you’ve been duped – that everything you’ve ever known about whites being the aggressors against purely unfortunate minorities has been a superseded by something much uglier: a war by everyone, for everyone.
Suddenly, you begin to encounter horror stories in local news pages about white women being tortured and murdered by black men, illegal aliens raping innocent girls, and Muslim fanatics beheading their own children for just desiring to be human. And after a few of these stories, you begin to develop something aside from a general sensation of shock and disgust. You almost immediately begin to carry a burden of anger. Not at the white nationalists who talk about these things, or even simply at the people who did them, but overwhelmingly at the people who purposely hide them. You begin to wonder why any useful racial crime statistics aren’t readily available at the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Victimization Report since Obama took office, or why nobody really knows which races and religions are responsible for the majority of discrimination lawsuits in the nation. You begin to wonder why lynch mobs are being organized on a yearly basis in honor of the few black people (and mostly criminals) shot by cops in bad neighborhoods, and nobody is protesting too openly about the diabolical black crime rates.
The answer is clear. A man who overwhelmingly showcases the atrocities of one race is running a propaganda war against it. And the people in charge of our government and mainstream media believe we’re stupid enough to believe them. On the whole, they are right. Except the problem with Westerners isn’t even so much that we’re stupid; it is that we lack the balls to read papers by the unpopular but intelligent people we disagree with.
The irony of the situation should be plain to everyone. A disgusting (but unfortunately necessary) magazine like American Renaissance is doing what the champions of diversity are supposed to be doing – which is giving us a complete picture of the differences among men, so that we can know what to do with them. If nearly everyone is interested in proclaiming the vices of a single race, American Renaissance is the magazine interested in proclaiming the general vices of the majority of races; for there is no such thing as fairness in an imaginary world where everything evil is committed by white people.
The unfortunate truth about interracial relations in a multiracial society is that there will be more interracial murders and rapes and robberies, not fewer – because murder is what people do. And there certainly won’t be murder in the same proportions – because difference is what happens when races are diverse. Asians for the next hundred years will never have neighborhoods as universally abominable as Ferguson or Compton, which is why Asians have deservedly received favorable mentions by openly racist men such as American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor (although the last time I checked, he preferred to be called a race realist). Diversity, it turns out, will absolutely mean more black and white and brown men holding hands in prayer. It will also mean more black and white and brown men hacking one another to death with machetes. It is impossible that it could be otherwise, and the more accurate knowledge we have about these things, the better. For we can act wisely only when we know what we are dealing with. We can progress only when we know where we stand.

Heather Mac Donald writes: The apologetics began almost as soon as the fires were lit in Baltimore yesterday, heralding a night of violence and looting that would leave 24 police officers injured and 19 buildings torched, including a $16 million senior center providing affordable housing and a CVS drugstore providing crucial medications for elderly customers. Society “refuses to help [young blacks] in a serious fashion,” Michael Eric Dyson announced on MSNBC. “We’re only there when they riot.” Mika Brzezinski observed on Morning Joe: “This was an extremely, desperately poor city. This was bound to happen.” We were seeing an “uprising of young people against the police,” the result of a “combination of anger and disparity,” said professional talking head Wes Moore. Neill Franklin, a former Baltimore police officer and member of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, blamed the drug laws.
In other words, the looters and arsonists were pushed to the breaking point by racism, poverty, and police brutality, the latter exemplified by the still unexplained death of Freddie Gray in police custody. The rioters’ means may have been regrettable, but they were engaged in a profound, if fiery, cri du coeur against the social injustice in which we all play a part.
Bunk. What happened last evening in Baltimore was simply a larger and better-covered version of the flash mobs that have beset American cities for the last half-decade, in which black youths gather via social media to steal from stores and assault whites. In May 2012, for example, students from Mervo High School in Northeast Baltimore crammed into a 7-Eleven store that was offering free Slurpees as a promotion. The teens grabbed all the merchandise they could get their hands on—$6,000 worth in total—and fled from the store. The manager tried to close the door to prevent the thieves from escaping and was viciously beaten. On St. Patrick’s Day that same year, a flash mob converged on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The Baltimore Sun reported that by the time the rampage ended, “one youth had been stabbed, a tourist had been robbed, beaten and stripped of his clothes, and others had been forced to take refuge inside a hotel lobby to escape an angry mob.” Last April, a bicyclist in Baltimore was attacked by a group of black teens who knocked him off his bike and pummeled him.
Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Washington D.C., among other cities, have all grappled with similar violence. None of it deserves a righteous political gloss. Nor does the violence last night, which began with an invitation sent out over social media to convene at a local mall and “purge” it.
Perhaps if the media had not shrunk from reporting on the flash mob phenomenon and the related “knockout game”—in which teenagers tried to knock out unsuspecting bystanders with a single sucker punch—we might have made a modicum of progress in addressing or at least acknowledging the real cause of black violence: the breakdown of the family. A widely circulated video from yesterday’s mayhem shows a furious mother whacking her hoodie-encased son to prevent him from joining the mob. This tiger mom may well have the capacity to rein in her would-be vandal son. But the odds are against her. Try as they might, single mothers are generally overmatched in raising males. Boys need their fathers. But over 72 percent of black children are born to single-mother households today, three times the black illegitimacy rate when Daniel Patrick Moynihan wrote his prescient analysis of black family breakdown in 1965.
Steve Sailer writes: These African traditions of quantity over quality in raising children are now obsolete in a world where elephants are no longer rivals. Africans now have AK-47s, so it’s more likely that four billion Africans will kill off all the wild game than that the elephants will get the upper hand again.
Indeed, many people in Africa today would like to change their self-destructive old ways. But if white people keep reassuring them that they’re awesome just the way they are and that any problems they have are the fault of bad white people, how can we expect Africans to develop a less catastrophic culture?
Economist John Lott writes for the New York Post March 9, 2015: Addressing the nation from Selma, Ala., on Saturday, President Obama said that while racism may be “no longer endemic,” as it was 50 years ago, his Justice Department’s report on Ferguson shows that the “nation’s racial history still casts its long shadow upon us.”
Sorry: The Justice report doesn’t prove disparate treatment, let alone discrimination.
In fact, it looks more like something ginned up to distract from the embarrassing fact that Justice (in another report released the same day) wound up fully validating the findings of the Ferguson grand jury.
Racism is serious, and those engaging in it should be shamed — but we should have real evidence before accusing others of it. And every one of the Justice report’s main claims of evidence of discrimination falls short.
Starting with the primary numerical claim. The report notes on Page 4: “Ferguson’s law-enforcement practices overwhelmingly impact African-Americans.
“Data collected by the Ferguson Police Department from 2012 to 2014 shows that African-Americans account for 85 percent of vehicle stops, 90 percent of citations, and 93 percent of arrests made by FPD officers, despite comprising only 67 percent of Ferguson’s population.”
Those statistics don’t prove racism, because blacks don’t commit traffic offenses at the same rate as other population groups.
The Bureau of Justice Statistics’ 2011 Police-Public Contact Survey indicates that, nationwide, blacks were 31 percent more likely than whites to be pulled over for a traffic stop.
Ferguson is a black-majority town. If its blacks were pulled over at the same rate as blacks nationally, they’d account for 87.5 percent of traffic stops.
In other words, the numbers actually suggest that Ferguson police may be slightly less likely to pull over black drivers than are their national counterparts. They certainly don’t show that Ferguson is a hotbed of racism.
Critics may assert that that “31 percent more likely” figure simply shows that racism is endemic to police forces nationwide.
Hmm: The survey also reveals that men are 42 percent more likely than women to be pulled over for traffic stops. Should we conclude that police are biased against men, or that men drive more recklessly?
