Have You Known A Woman Who Doesn’t Like To Be Spoiled?

Have you ever heard of a guy say, “I don’t like blowjobs?” No. Equivalent for women would be: “Have you ever heard a woman say, I don’t like it when I feel intense emotions or when other people give me stuff/money”? That’s why people pay for sex, both parties are happy.

I asked a married FFB friend in 99035 what frum wives charge their husbands for sex these days. He said: “Nothing major, just $10,000-$15,000 a month. Mexicans are cheaper.”

Orthodox friend: “When I was young, I only thought white women were attractive. Now, if she’s breathing, she’s attractive.” I think he needs a closer walk with the Lord.

* My favorite neg these days: “You do a great deal with your natural ability.”

* What percentage of men going to SLAA DON’T HOPE TO HOOK UP AT THEIR FIRST MEETING? I’d say zero. I’d bet that less than 1% hook up.

* Which 12 step has the greatest chance of hookups? AA and drug programs. A lot of men go to AA and the equivalent just to prowl for vulnerable women. A 12-step meeting usually feels safe, people open up, and after the meeting, a lot of people connect.

What are the rules? You are not supposed to have sex in your first year of sobriety.

NYT: Australia Deploys Sheepdogs to Save a Penguin Colony

Friend: “I think the analogy is quite clear. You the Australian convert to Orthodox Judaism and Americanism are trying to protect white Americans from their predatory enemies….”

New York Times: “Massacred,” read the banner headline in the local newspaper — just the single word, as if describing an act of war. Below it was a photo of dead penguins and other birds, the latest casualties in Australia’s long history of imported species’ decimating native wildlife.

Foxes killed 180 penguins in that particular episode, in October 2004. But the toll on Middle Island, off Victoria State in southern Australia, kept rising. By 2005, the small island’s penguin population, which had once numbered 800, was below 10.

Today, their numbers are back in the triple digits, and much of the credit has gone to a local chicken farmer known as Swampy Marsh and his strong-willed sheepdogs.

“The powers that be wouldn’t listen to me until it got down to six penguins,” said Mr. Marsh, whose long-unused birth name is Allan. “They were desperate.”

The farmer’s simple solution — deploy a particularly territorial breed of sheepdog to scare the foxes away — became local legend and, in September, the subject of an Australian film, “Oddball,” which fictionalized the story and made a lovable hero of one of the dogs. The strategy is now being tried elsewhere in Victoria, in hopes of protecting other indigenous species from non-native predators.

Dozens of Australian mammal species have gone extinct since European settlers began arriving in the late 18th century, bringing cats, foxes and other predators new to the ecosystem. A recently announced plan to cull millions of feral cats, which the government says prey on more than 100 threatened species, drew new attention to the problem while infuriating some celebrity advocates of animal rights.

Little penguins, the smallest penguin species, were once common along Australia’s southern coast. But when red foxes were imported for sport hunting in the 19th century, they found the tiny, flightless birds to be easy prey. (So did cats and dogs.) The penguins’ colonies on the mainland began disappearing, which is why most are now found on islands.

Paglia: ‘Transgender Mania’ is a Symptom of West’s Cultural Collapse

(CNSNews.com)–Best-selling feminist author, social critic and self-described “transgender being” Camille Paglia said in an interview last month that the rise of transgenderism in the West is a symptom of decadence and cultural collapse.

“Nothing… better defines the decadence of the West to the jihadists than our toleration of open homosexuality and this transgender mania now,” Paglia said during an October 22 interview on the Brazilian television program Roda Viva.

Paglia also said during the interview that “transgender propagandists” are overstating their case.

“I think that the transgender propagandists make wildly inflated claims about the multiplicity of gender,” she said.

“Sex reassignment surgery, even today with all of its advances, cannot in fact change anyone’s sex, okay. You can define yourself as a trans man, or a trans woman, as one of these new gradations along the scale. But ultimately, every single cell in the human body, the DNA in that cell, remains coded for your biological birth.

“So there are a lot of lies being propagated at the present moment, which I think is not in anyone’s best interest.

“Now what I’m concerned about is the popularity and the availability of sex reassignment surgery, so that someone who doesn’t feel that he or she belongs to the biological birth, gender. People are being encouraged to intervene in the process.

“Parents are now encouraged to subject the child to procedures that I think are a form of child abuse. The hormones to slow puberty, actual surgical manipulations, etcetera. I think that this is wrong, that people should wait until they are of an informed age of consent.

“Parents should not be doing this to their children and I think that even in the teenage years is too soon to be making this leap. People change, people grow, and people adapt.”

Paglia went on to talk about her book Sexual Personae and how the emergence of transgenderism signifies the end of Western culture. “Now I am concerned about this… In fact, my study of history in Sexual Personae, I’m always talking about the late phases of culture.

“I was always drawn to late or decadent phases of culture. Oscar Wilde is one of the great exponents of that in the late 19th century. He’s one of my strongest influences from my earliest years.

“And I found in my study that history is cyclic, and everywhere in the world you find this pattern in ancient times: that as a culture begins to decline, you have an efflorescence of transgender phenomena. That is a symptom of cultural collapse.

“So rather than people singing the praises of humanitarian liberalism that allows all of these transgender possibilities to appear and to be encouraged, I would be concerned about how Western culture is defining itself to the world.

“Because in fact these phenomena are inflaming the irrational, indeed borderline psychotic opponents of Western culture in the form of ISIS and other jihadists, etcetera,” Paglia said.

“Nothing… better defines the deadence of the West to the jihadists than our toleration of open homosexuality and this transgender mania now.”

The Case For Secession

Paul Gottfried writes: An astrophysicist who is perhaps best known for his 1979 best-seller (that sold over 50,000 copies) A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in World History, Michael H. Hart (1932-) has just brought out a new work, Restoring America that seems as stimulating as earlier publishing success. In this book, Hart elaborates on a detailed plan for enabling the US to split into two different political entities. This division would occur without violence, and the American federal government from which the secessionists would be withdrawing would be confronted by an accomplished fact by the time the new American state would be formed. A constitution would be framed and elections to office would take place even before the break was completed; and those who choose to live in the new federal republic would transfer their allegiance to it while still technically under the US government.

This secession, according to Hart, is being forced on constitutional and lifestyle traditionalists because the federal government and its obliging subordinates at the state level have been on a power trip for decades. In the name of fighting discrimination and working toward “social justice,” administrators and politicians have worked to control every detail of our social life, including our private associations and what we can say to each other. At the same time, the power elite has opened the flood gates to Third World immigration, creating an emerging electoral majority that benefits from the victim industry. Hart believes that given the political and demographic turns undergone by Americans since the 1960s, it is no longer possible to reverse the direction of our “liberal democracy.” His pessimism may be fully justified. And unlike the author, who intermittently equates “conservatism” with adhesion to the GOP, I would argue that our bogus “conservative” establishment is at least partly responsible for government overreach. Throughout the West fake opposition parties are happily cutting deals with the totalitarian Left while persistently marginalizing serious opposition.

If secession is still an option for those who don’t want to continue the march into a rigidly administered multicultural society, Hart sketches what may be a possible plan for separation. The “red” secessionists (personally I wish that Hart hadn’t adopted these fox-news tags.) would give the feds the most populous and most heavily industrialized regions, including valuable territory on and around the two coasts. The “reds” would move into those parts of the country in which they were already dominant, thereby ceding to the feds enormous initial advantages in accumulated wealth and resources. Since the more populous states would fall into the “blue” column, Hart insists that fairness requires that counties, not states, be allowed to choose on which side they wanted to go. For example, it shouldn’t be necessary that the rest of Michigan live under a regime that the inhabitants find oppressive but which is elected by a left-wing majority in the Southeast corner of the state, plus Lansing and the inner cities of Benton Harbor, and Grand Rapids. Deciding who lives under what government at the county level, argues Hart, seems more just, even if it means that some people may be obliged to transfer their residences in order to find a congenial regime.

At least initially the USA, although demographically and territorially reduced, would enjoy overwhelming assets in relation to the secessionists. Not only would it possess a larger work force and most of the industrial and natural resources. It would also remain in control of the majority of first-rate universities, large banks, and economically useful professionals, many of whom lean toward the political Left. But eventually these advantages would be outweighed by the destructive force of an inept collectivist state nurtured by an expanding welfare class and largely unrestricted Third World immigration. These negatives would work against the success of the blue administration, while the combination of limited government, traditional lifestyles, and well controlled borders in Hart’s American Federal Republic would allow the “reds” to pull ahead.

LAT: In historic move, the largest U.S. branch of Judaism backs transgender rights

The Torah has so much to say about transgender rights!

Chaim Amalek: “This is the future of American Judaism: multigender bathrooms, sexual fluidity, and all the rest that we see in Torah.”

Los Angeles Times: The largest branch of Judaism in the United States passed a far-reaching resolution supporting transgender rights Thursday, the latest step in a year that has seen the issue move from the shadows into the limelight.

At its biennial meeting in Orlando, Fla., members of the Union for Reform Judaism approved the resolution that calls for their congregations and children’s camps to have gender-neutral bathrooms and encourages gender-neutral language. The resolution, which passed on a voice vote, also calls for religious school staffers to receive training on gender issues and urges members to lobby governments on behalf of the transgender community.

Transgender issues have never been more visible or politically controversial. This year, celebrities such as Caitlyn Jenner have come out as transgender, propelling the issue into the mainstream media and national conversation.

Just this week in Houston, 60% of voters rejected a city measure that would have outlawed discrimination against gay and transgender people.

Opponents called it the “bathroom ordinance” and argued that restrooms could be used by everyone regardless of gender.

Bathrooms were not seen as controversial in the nine-point resolution adopted by the Reform Jews.

“This is a very historic resolution,” said Rabbi Denise Eger of Congregation Kol Ami in West Hollywood. Eger is also president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, with 2,300 members the largest and oldest rabbinical organization in North America. She is the third woman and first lesbian to head the group.

Her congregation has about 300 households, she said. About 60% identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning.

NYT References The Dark Enlightenment

Ross Douthat, the best NYT columnist in my view, he presents HBD (Human Bio-Diversity), WN (White Nationalism) and DE (Dark Enlightenment) themes for the mainstream, writes about the new novel Submission: “I sort of knew this going in but even so it was remarkable how — well, I think neo-reactionary is really the only term to use to describe what Houellebecq seems to be doing in his portrait of contemporary France and his mischievous prophecy about its potential trajectory. And I do mean neo-reactionary in the internet-movement, Mencius Moldbug sense of the term (if you aren’t familiar with this particular rabbit hole, good luck): The overt political teaching of “Submission” is that Europe is dying from the disease called liberalism, that it can be saved only by a return of hierarchy and patriarchy and patriotism and religion and probably some kind of monarchy as well, but that religion itself is primarily an instrumental good and so the point is to find a faith that actually convinces and inspires and works (and that’s, well, a little manly), and on that front European Christianity and particularly Roman Catholicism is basically a dead letter so the future might as well belong to Islam instead.”

The Ethnic Theory Of Plane Crashes

Steve Sailer writes for VDARE in 2008:

I spent a few hours poking around on the Internet and found AirSafe.com, which lists every “fatal event” involving a scheduled airliner. According to the rigorous definition they employ, there were 45 fatal airline events on Earth between the beginning of 2004 and October 2008. I entered all 45 into an Excel spreadsheet and looked at the results.

  • First, not one of the 45 crashes involved a Japanese airline.

This is not to say that excessive deference to captains might not be a problem. After all, American airlines have been fighting it for almost 30 years. But apparently it`s the kind of problem that a highly competent country like Japan can train its aircrews to avoid.

  • Second, my spreadsheet quickly suggested a far more general “ethnic theory of plane crashes”—one that Malcolm Gladwell would never, ever mention.

The International Civil Aviation Organization summarizes the number of departures by region, allowing us roughly to estimate rates of crashing per flight.

North America (the U.S. and Canada) accounts for 42 percent of the world`s airline departures, but only seven percent of the fatal events on AirSafe`s list of 2004-2008.

But Latin America has only seven percent of the departures, but 18 percent of the fatal crashes, since 2004. Thus, airlines headquartered in Latin America have been 16 times as dangerous as airlines based in North America.

Africa and the Middle East, lumped together, are 42 times as dangerous as North America—with five percent of all departures and 33 percent of all crashes.

In summary, First World airlines are fairly safe.

In contrast, the old Second World (the ex-Soviet Union) looks quite dangerous, with nine crashes among its airlines.

And the Third World (Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia) is, unsurprisingly to VDARE.COM readers, highly dangerous relative to its small number of departures. Third World airlines accounted for 29 of the last 45 fatal events.

None of this is astonishing. Third World and ex-Soviet countries are much more dangerous in general (here`s a website that tracks Third World bus plunges), most likely due to lower levels of general competence.

Still, that`s a rather important thing to know. Wouldn`t you say? Useful when booking your next overseas trip?

Malcolm Gladwell`s books are sold in vast quantities in airport bookstores to frequent fliers. So you might imagine he`d want to clue his loyal readers in on how to minimize the danger of dying in a crash. But that would involve violating the taboos against political incorrectness—which could make him as popular on the corporate speaking circuit as Charles Murray.

Forget it!

And “The Ethnic Theory of Plane Crashes” is perhaps the best chapter in Gladwell`s new opus.

“Rice Paddies and Math Tests” isn`t the worst chapter, either, but it`s still lame.

Gladwell argues that the reason Chinese kids are good at math is because they work hard.

Math requires hard work, no doubt. But discounting aptitude this completely is something that only somebody as bad with numbers as Gladwell would do. Anybody with any skill at math knows that, no matter how hard you try, you`ll always run into somebody who is better at it than you are.

Why do the Chinese work hard? Because, according to Gladwell, their ancestors worked in rice paddies, which demand much more effort than the wheat fields harvested by lazy Europeans.

To explain why whites are so lazy, Gladwell contrasts the “autonomous” work of Chinese rice growers to the closely managed work of European farmers:

“The peasants of Europe worked essentially as low-paid slaves of an aristocratic landlord, with little control over their own destinies. Growing rice is too complicated and intricate for a system that requires farmers to be coerced and bullied into going out into the fields each morning. By the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, landlords in central and Southern China had an almost completely hands-off relationships with their tenants: they would collect a fixed rent and let farmers go about their business.”

Malcolm apparently believes that European aristocrats would, in the manner of Parris Island drill sergeants, wake up their tenants each morning and force them out of their beds!

These Da Vinci Code-quality howlers pop up repeatedly in Outliers.

Nonetheless, Gladwell is certainly right that rice farmers work hard. Not surprisingly, though, he fails to mention the even more relevant contrast to rice farming: the “female farming” cultures of tropical Africa, which demand mostly just hoeing by women, with very little labor from men. By Gladwell`s logic, that might explain a lot about African-American culture, but he wouldn`t go there even if he ever thought of it.

Rice growing makes the Chinese hard working, which, in Gladwell`s theory, makes them good at math.

(Of course, vast numbers of Chinese live in the wheat belt, around the Yellow River. Indeed, that`s where Chinese culture originated. But never mind that…)

Is Gladwell arguing, as geneticist Henry Harpending and evolutionary theorist Gregory Cochran document in their upcoming book The 10,000 Year Explosion: How Civilization Accelerated Human Evolution, that the life or death Malthusian struggle to grow enough food to survive caused humans to evolve rapidly in recent millennia?

Is Gladwell theorizing that rice growing selected Chinese genes for hard work and/or math?

Of course not! It`s all a cultural legacy from working in the rice paddies, he says.

No nature, just nurture. Nobody here but us chickens.

Let`s try a reality check. Why don`t the rice paddy cultures of Southeast Asia, such as Cambodia and Indonesia, produce math wizards? There has been a sizable Filipino population in California for several generations, but very few make it to Cal Tech.

It`s a puzzlement. At least to Gladwell.

We journalists don`t have to be smart. But we do have to be clever in understanding what makes us money in modern America.

For example, there`s a huge market for books offering non-genetic explanations for the lower intellectual performance of blacks—look at how over 1.5 million copies have been sold of Jared Diamond`s rather boring Guns, Germs, and Steel. Stephen Jay Gould`s anti-IQ book The Mismeasure of Man has been similarly successful.

Gladwell`s insight, however, is that the market for these books is largely driven not by blacks searching for arguments for why they aren`t really less intelligent on average. After all, blacks aren`t prominent in the publishing and book promotion businesses. Instead, most of the excitement about these books is generated by Jewish media figures looking for arguments about why Jews can`t possibly be smarter on average than gentiles.

Thus, Gladwell includes a chapter focusing on a famous Jewish lawyer, “The Three Lessons of Joe Flom”, that makes the curious (but no doubt popular) claim that Jews became so successful in the professions by the middle of the 20th Century because they were lucky to have parents who were garment workers in the sweatshops of New York. Therefore, any group could be as successful as Jews if they just had the same opportunities.

He argues:

“Or consider the fate of the Mexicans who immigrated to California between 1900 and the end of the 1920s to work in the fields of the big fruit and vegetable growers. … [Historian Daniel Soyer writes] `If you are working in a field in California, you have no clue what`s happening to produce when it gets on the truck. If you are working in a small garment shop … you can see exactly what the successful people are doing …` “[pp. 148-149]

An HBD Approach To The Islamic Invasion Of Eupre

From the fantastic blog (Those Who Can See) of an ex-pat American living in France:

From the Pope to the E.U. to the U.N., the narrative has taken shape: ‘Millions of refugees fleeing war-torn regions are flooding into Europe, and we must take them all in.’ If one doesn’t embrace it whole-heartedly–and many Europeans do not–one is ‘vile,’ ‘shameful,’ and ‘spreading hate’ (to quote German chancellor Angela Merkel). Such closed-minded bigots need to open their hearts and homes.

We here at TWCS argue that there is much more to the story. From our privileged perch here in continental Europe, we enjoy access to scores of local news stories which haven’t seeped into the international media. So as with the Charlie Hebdo massacre, we’re taking a slight detour from our normal blogging in order to give a press round-up we hope some may find useful. From our seat in the very front row, we humbly invite you to join us on a tour of the less-reported sides of this epochal event. But kindly buckle up first.

The Jewish Contribution to the European Integration Project Read more: The Jewish Contribution to the European Integration Project

Here are transcripts of the speeches at this 2013 conference at Ben Gurion University in Israel.

Dr. Sharon Pardo, Director Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society, gave welcoming remarks:

Last year when we discussed Europe Day, we at
CSEPS, decided to celebrate this year’s Europe Day in a
unique and original way. We decided to embark on a
new project that will examine and discuss the Jewish
contribution to the European integration project.
I admit that when we thought of the theme of this
workshop, which from now on will be an annual event,
we had in mind Milan Kundera’s famous 1998 essay on
“The Tragedy of Central Europe” in which Kundera
suggests that no other part of the world was as
illuminated by Jewish energies as was the centre of
Europe. In Kundera’s own words:
“Aliens everywhere and everywhere at home, lifted
above national quarrels, the Jews in the twentieth
century were the principal cosmopolitan, integrating
element in central Europe: They were its intellectual
cement, a condensed version of its spirit, creators of its
spiritual unity.”
Such iconic Jews were viewed by some as representing
Europe’s first supra-national and multicultural entity
and, from the nineteenth century onwards, were
depicted as the essence of “Europeaness”, consisting of
cosmopolitanism, anti-nationalism and the principles of
the liberal order.
Hannah Arendt, the controversial German-American
political theorist even went further in her 1968 book
“Men in Dark Times” and depicted the Jews as
“Europe’s Chosen people” – in her words:
“The position and functions of the Jewish people in
Europe predestined them to become the “good
European” par excellence. The Jewish middle classes of
Paris and London, Berlin and Vienna, Warsaw and
Moscow were in fact neither cosmopolitan nor
international, though the intellectuals among them
thought of themselves in these terms. They were
European, something that could be said of no other
group.”
Yet were such Jews really cosmopolitan, international
and European? Were they Europe’s Chosen people, the
heroes of the European integration project, and if so
what does it tell us about the founding fathers of the
European integration project and their imagined
community today? It appears that Jews have, or at
least had, a lot to live up to in Europe. What happened
to the Jewish contribution to the European integration
project? What happened to such Jewish Europeans? Did
they all go in a puff of crematorium smoke?
The Jew has always been deemed to have competing
loyalties and affiliations, being a member of a religion,
an ethnic group, and even at one point a ‘race’. To the
extent, therefore, that the European integration project
is creating a similar crisis at the heart of European
citizenry, today all Europeans are, in some
metaphorical sense, Jews.
Interestingly enough, this metaphorical sense is not
lost on EU leadership, who often speak of the need to
learn from the history of European Jews and draw on
European Jewry as a model for emulation within the
EU. As Romano Prodi, former President of the European
Commission and former Italian Prime Minister has put
it:
“I believe we can learn a lot from the history of the
Jews of Europe. In many ways they are the first, the
oldest Europeans… We, the new Europeans, are just
starting to learn the complex art of living with multiple
allegiances – allegiance to our home town, to our own
region, to our home country, and now to the European
Union. The Jews have been forced to master this art
since antiquity. They were both Jewish and Italian, or
Jewish and French, Jewish and Spanish, Jewish and
Polish, Jewish and German. Proud of their ties with
Jewish communities throughout the continent and
equally proud of their bonds with their own country.”
In fact, the EU leadership views European Jewry as
somehow the constitutive minority of the Union,
despite or rather precisely because the most patently
historical link between the European project and
European Jewry is the Second World War. After all, the
EU was born out of the atrocities of the past as an
effort to reconcile the religious, cultural and linguistic
differences of Europe.
Moreover, to the extent that religious tensions continue
to affect the European space, the EU leaders expect the
Jewish communities to take a central role in improving
and promoting inter
-religious and inter
-community
relations in the EU. In practical terms, this means an
expectation that European Jewish communities work to
improve their relations with the Muslim communities in
all EU Member States, and that Jews living in the EU
Member States broaden their struggle against anti

Semitism to include other categories of racial and
religious discrimination, including of course
Islamophobia.

Another expectation that the EU has from its Jewish
communities regards Israel. The EU views the Jewish
communities as a broker that brings it closer to Israel,
or in another words, as a bridge between the EU and
Israel. EU leadership expects the Jewish communities
to assist the EU institutions in cementing the ties with
Israel.

An author uses the moniker The End of Zion critiques:

Imagine holding an international conference in which European speakers claimed that Whites are “Israel’s Chosen People” and the “essence of Hebrewness” due to their leading role in the destruction of Jewish identity and the forced integration of millions of Blacks and Moslems into Israel, and you’ll have an idea of just how absurd and offensive this all is.

German goy Michael Mertes says: “Nationalism (at any rate its ethnocentric version) had identified the Jews as an alien minority, excluded them from the Volksgemeinschaft – the national community – and finally treated them as enemies who had no right to life. In that sense, the fight against nationalism and the fight against anti-Semitism have always been two sides of the same coin.”

“Should the Euro crisis considerably strengthen right-wing extremist parties that openly advocate anti-foreigner policies and an anti-Semitic worldview, Article 7 could become a serious option.”

Article 7 is cited as follows:

“[The] Council, acting by a majority of four fifths of its members after obtaining the consent of the European Parliament, may determine that there is a clear risk of a serious breach by a Member State of the values referred to in Article 2. … [The Council] may decide to suspend certain of the rights deriving from the application of the Treaties to the Member State in question, including the voting rights of the representative of the government of that Member State in the Council.”
