Media reaction: Sickening, disgusting and vile; Greg Hardy should never play another down

I’ve seen the pictures. I don’t find them the least shocking. Men do this to each other every football game. They consent to participate in a physical struggle.

This woman similarly consented to get into a dangerous struggle.

Sportswriters are incredibly PC and thick-headed about these matters.

Domestic violence is invariably two knuckleheads going at it, with the weaker one losing.

DallasNews:

Deadspin published a detailed account of the case Friday along with a gallery of photos that show the various injuries Nicole Holder suffered to her back, legs, foot, arms, neck and chin that evening in Charlotte a year-and-a-half ago.

Here’s a sample of national reaction to the Hardy story:

Christine Brennan of USA TODAY Sports invited fans to examine the photos of Hardy’s ex-girlfriend published by Deadspin, and then provide an explanation as to why he should be allowed to play another down in the NFL.

Brennan also referred to the Ray Rice video, advocating for a similar effect on Hardy’s career as that video had on Rice’s.

Brennan wrote:

“Let’s hope the release of these photos will do what the NFL could not do: punish Hardy as he should be punished, by losing his career for good.

Why does it take pictures to wake us up to what we already should have realized?”

Google Pumps $2.35 Million Into Racial Justice Projects, Including #BlackLivesMatter Video App

Comments:

* The $2.35 will evaporate without a trace, having done nothing nor moved the needle one iota. The professional ‘helpers’ working on behalf of the benighted will have some paydays ahead of them, that’s about it. I suppose the point of BLM is that the number of blacks who are homicide victims is too high and should be reduced. So why focus on the police? The vast majority of blacks are murdered by blacks, not by cops.

* The point of Black Lives Matter is to hold whitey upside-down by the ankles and shake him until money falls out.

Or maybe it’s just a catch phrase to scream while throwing bricks or disrupting white gatherings.

LAT: Why some LAUSD teachers are balking at a new approach to discipline problems

As we all know, black kids suffer from too much discipline in their lives.

Los Angeles Times: The district moved to ban suspensions amid national concern that they imperil academic achievement and disproportionately affect minorities, particularly African Americans.

But many teachers say their classrooms are reeling from unruly students who are escaping consequences for their actions.

They blame the district for failing to provide the staff and training needed to effectively shift to the new approach — and their complaints are backed up by L.A. schools Supt. Ramon Cortines. He said the new discipline policies, which were pushed through by the Board of Education and former Supt. John Deasy and which he supports, were poorly executed. He compared the implementation to the flawed effort to equip students and teachers with Apple tablets.

“I will compare it to the iPad,” Cortines said. “You cannot piecemeal this kind of thing and think it is going to have the impact that it should have. Don’t make a political statement and then don’t have the wherewithal to back it up.”

COMMENTS AT LATIMES:

* How does this improve academic achievement when one or two students continually disrupt the class, ensuring that no one learns anything?! In order for this type of program to work, it requires funding, and as we all know, Deasy and Broad have gutted monies which support local public schools and classrooms. The article refers to financial management, which in LAUSD is an oxymoron.

* Can’t be the minority kids fault, it has to be the institutionalize do racism due to all the white teachers…ahhh liberalism, you gotta love it.

* Hey libs, we told you this was going to happen.

Yale’s Halloween Costume Crisis

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* I suggest that these students would benefit from experiencing a Chinese practice from the time of the Cultural Revolution. Several years of hard labour in a rural setting.

* Young kids just love censorship. It’s a generational thing.
Last year I was told by a younger female cousin she wouldn’t speak, socialise or in any way associate herself with right- wing, racist, sexist or “homophobic” people. At that point she didn’t really know where I stood on some issues. Needless to say, I was soon made a pariah by her and her side of the family.
Today tolerance means intolerance toward different point of views. If you do not toe the PC line you’re a fascist, a waste of oxygen, a non-person. And antifas are downright violent and vicious. You’ve been warned.

* It’s more like a female thing. Women crave conformity over individuality, security over freedom. I see it all day, every day, everywhere.

* Blacks be crazy. They substitute volume for sense.

It goes back to MLK. Take away the volume and read his speeches straight, and they are just silly yammerings.

We see a pattern.

Black ‘debating’ style.

Interruption of Bernie Sanders speech.

The way of rappers.

Jews use wit and logic(however twisted).

Blacks holler.

Well, Jews created this climate. May they reap what they sowed.

PS. The idea of ‘safe spaces’ is one thing white right should appropriate from PC.

EU should be safe space from Muslim invasion, African violence, and Jewish machinations.

White communities should be safe spaces from black crime… like in the film THE VILLAGE.

Good idea and morally defensible too.

The great irony is the most universities are set up to be safe spaces for whites from black crime.

Many are situated in small towns.

And even those in big cities(with lots of blacks) have lots of policing. like in Hyde Park. It is to protect whites from black thugs.

But colleges are also ‘progressive’ and ostensibly against ‘white privilege’.

So, they provide ‘safe spaces’ for minority students but from what? The mythical KKK at Oberlin?

White Libs create safe racial spaces for themselves but justify such spaces by making the gesture of creating mini-safe-spaces for token blacks who have nothing to fear. Such token blacks may be accosted by stop-ans-frisk police on occasion, but cops do that only because they’ve been ordered to maintain safe spaces for white libs in a city with ‘too many blacks.’

* These are the fruits of a society run by women. Even today, is it conceivable for a man to allow himself to be heard whining like this?
A hundred years ago, prohibition was enacted, for alcohol is an evil invention by men. Fun in general is an evil invention by men, for men.
Free speech is an oppressive oligarchic paternalistic racist adultist malist construct. It doesn’t exist, just like race and gender, figments of the imagination of the patriarchy. Reality, fun, airplanes, cameras, wheels, toothpicks, atomic reactors and ice cream, all are oppressions foisted upon us by the patriarchy, and justified by the vilest construct of them all, free speech.
Instead, let the matriarchy and culturarchy lead the way. After all, they have given us “safe spaces” and nurseries for all.
“And let reality be banished from the earth, for all eternity, sayeth she, the goddess of safe spaces and whining bitches.

* The students should force the professor to wear a dunce cap and engage in self-criticism, but probably dunce caps are culturally insensitive and insulting to the Dunce-American community.

I love the idea of the Pinterest page with “suggested” good and bad Halloween costumes. The actual pages didn’t really offer much comedy gold, unfortunately. I did glean that dressing as Rosie the Riveter is good, because she is a strong female figure. I don’t know whether it is OK/expected for guys to also dress as Rosie, but I assume it is. Would it be OK to dress as Dr. Huxtable in a colorful sweater (as long as you didn’t wear blackface)?

In the ’60s, if the Yale administration had dared to officially recommend Halloween costumes to the students (not that anyone over the age of 12 wore Halloween costumes in those days) everyone would have called them fascists, but now the students DEMAND that they do so.

I also love the idea of abolishing House “Masters” – how racist can you get? I don’t know what we could change this to, though. Anything else – house chieftain, house sheikh, etc. would be cultural appropriation, just as evil as dressing up as a samurai or in a turban. I understand that dressing as inanimate object is still OK in most cases. Maybe the House Master could be called the “Big Cheese” or the “Venti Latte”, but then again many non-Northern Europeans are lactose intolerant, vegan, etc. so maybe he/she/it could be the “Big Tofu” or the “Venti Latte with soymilk”.

* Way back in my college days, at the dawn of the PC era, I had a Chinese history professor who said that the PC movement reminded him of the Red Guards from the Cultural Revolution. I thought that comment was an exaggeration, but it doesn’t seem that far from the truth now.

One assumes that the zeal and ardor of these undergraduates will wane with time. But if not, it scares me to think of the consequences for American society.

* She’ a light skinned Mulatta. The most militant blacks and those who form the “black” leadership are the ones who are partly white. First of all, in order to prove their black identity (most of all to themselves) and 2ndly because they tend to be more intelligent than other American Blacks who have more African blood.

* It strikes me that this might be the perfect moment for the U. of Chicago to assert itself as the number one undergraduate institution in America — the only liberal arts college that maintains traditional standards of free speech, a solid liberal arts curriculum (though slipping here), and that treats its students, not like children, and not like adults, but like, well, smart undergraduates who have a lot to learn. Liberal faculty and administrators at all the other elite institutions have caved, a surrender that started in the 1960′s — why did they give up virtually without a fight? — and that continues today.

* Steve, you have suggested several times that the US Government should establish a procedure to examine the government decisions that resulted in the legal immigration of foreigners who subsequently committed terrorist mass murders and other heinous crimes.

Likewise, universities ought to establish a procedure to examine the university decisions that resulted in the enrollment of students who turn out to be grossly maladjusted for a university culture and who frighten even the faculty and staff.

How was this bizarre coed admitted into extremely selective Yale University?

The administration should re-examine:

* her high-school studies and extra-curricular activities

* the recommendations written by her teachers, etc.

* her application essay

* her test scores (SAT, etc.)

* the selection committee’s reasoning for favoring her over other applicants.

Obviously, she was not sufficiently mature, intelligent or educated to become a Yale student.

Evaluating this selection decision retrospectively, Yale University should learn some lessons to avoid similar mistakes in the future.

* Of all the horrific tendencies on display in this video, the rise of “snaps” (the simultaneous finger clicking you hear from the crowd) as a signal of social/group approval (replacing applause) is most terrifying. Closely related to the “up twinkles” hand gesture which first gained widespread notoriety during the Occupy protests, the practice would seem to be ripe for use as a device in a horror movie set on campus. One good thing, much harder to drown out your opposition with snaps than applause (though these proto-fascists don’t seem to have much trouble shouting someone down anyway).

* I hesitate to bring up a Harvard vs Yale competition, but I will say, having seen and heard about any number of recent graduates from each, that Yalies just seem many times more affected and preening than those from Harvard, who seem, oddly, rather more normal.

A much higher disproportion of Yalies (most especially women) seem to talk in an almost absurdly exaggerated manner — fast talking, up talking, vocal deep frying, etc. I could posit a number of explanations — “We’re Number Two. We impress harder!” is a good candidate — but there’s just something out of whack about that place.

* Mounting cell phone video evidence like this is building the widespread notion that these BLM types are the villains not the victims. The left wing narrative on this is really going to flip.

Also, while black Americans do block vote for racist hard left Obama, and have general block support for Trayvon and Michael Brown and even OJ, a lot of regular blacks actually realize that Obama is racist, Trayvon and Michael Brown bore large responsibility for their fates, and OJ was guilty.

* As has been noted before, thanks to Worldstar Hip Hop, Live Leak, and YouTube, the preponderance of evidence of black people, filmed by black people, exhibiting themselves as collectively prone towards degenerate behavior, will slowly but surely brand itself on the collective American subconscious, so that even liberals will find themselves clutching their collective purses every time a black person gets on an elevator with them, for generations to come.

If I were a black student at Yale, the last thing I’d do is start screaming expletives, while removing my backpack, leading the viewer to believe their could be violence to come, while having a discussion with an administrator.

I would reason that, in my privileged position, as a black person attending Yale university, it would be my responsibility to demonstrate that black people don’t tend toward violent and/or irrational behavior, and feeble-mindedness, and that I wasn’t a student at Yale simply because of their sublimated affirmative action policies.

These shrill black students have contributed to this “negative stereotype” that will not serve their generation well. Viewers may not reason it out in their minds that blacks have a tendency towards violence and low emotional IQ, but subconsciously, it will be reinforced as the “rules of the game,” when dealing with black people at any level.

It wouldn’t be acceptable for me to go through life as a black person knowing my achievements stand, in part, because other people feel sorry for my wretched lot in life, and are giving me things due to their pity.

Unfortunately, these black students have done their part to ensure they will be pitied, and any real achievements by them will be considered an exception to the very far right of their races bell curve.

* Most of the “black” students in the Ivy League are either the children of immigrants or have a non-black parent. New York Mayor De Blasio’s son Dante started Yale this fall. Steven Spielberg’s son Theo is a Yale graduate. The Crouch quadruplets, Yale graduates, have a white father and a Nigerian mother.

* Dressing as someone you’re not for one evening: so bad you should be confronted by friends.
Dressing as someone you’re not for years: so good you should receive federal protection.

* I think Christakis handled the situation very well. Its very hard for a grown man to deal with a teenage girl’s temper tantrum. He loses if it appears he is bullying her or lets it get physical and he loses if he backs down.

The professor walked the thin line very well. He stood his ground, made it clear his opinion is not changing, and let her have her tantrum. In the end she is one who walked away.

By tweeting his sympathy for her, he reclaimed the moral high ground.

Steve Sailer: The NYT’s Negro Removal Project of 2015 Grinds on

Steve Sailer writes: The New York Times continues its campaign to grease the skids under urban blacks so that there is nothing to dissuade inner city blacks from moving out to various nowheresvilles, such as Inkster, MI…

Black cops with clean records and good test scores are a hot commodity. They have a lot of choices in where to work: a high-paying big city? A low crime exurb? Black majority suburbs don’t have much money and have moderate crime rates, so they get stuck with white cops, who, due to White Privilege, are, all else being equal, cheaper.

You’ll notice that there is no shortage of attention paid by, say, the New York Times to Inkster, Michigan when it comes to racial inequalities that could be said to be disadvantageous to blacks.

On the other other hand, the national increase in the death rate among middle-aged whites in 1999-2005 slipped the notice of practically everybody for a further decade, because what kind of disgusting maniac worries about white people?

COMMENTS:

* It’s amazing how casually they talk about displacing white people (especially white men) from jobs, so that people of other races – in this case blacks – can hold them.

* Police and fire departments face a gap that opens up between white and black candidates in terms of test scores. They try to make up for this with diversity points. But another class of candidates also gets extra points: military veterans.

Over the last 15 years, we have created a huge group of young white men who expect to get their points in civil service hiring. In fact, a few years ago many high paying cities could probably fill all their police and fire openings with combat veterans.

I wonder how this tension between “supporting the troops” and “diversity” is playing out. Since this tension may tend to separate the center-left of the Democratic party from their constituencies, I am not surprised that the MSM isn’t interested.

* Nothing would be better than to have blacks policed by black cops, preferably a 100 per cent black force. It would settle the question of whether the killing of blacks by white police officers would have worked out any differently if the officers were black. If Darren Wilson were black, maybe some feeling of racial solidarity would have induced him to let Michael Brown go ahead and take his gun, thus preventing the fatal shooting – or preventing the shooting of Michael Brown, at any rate.

The Costly War on Painful Education

Robert Weisberg writes:

Pain is inescapably part of life and a pre-requisite to accomplishment (“no pain, no gain”). But, that said, fortunes await those who can promise all the benefits sans any pain—think miracle weight loss pills. Most of these schemes just waste money but when it concerns helping the African American underclass, the consequences of eliminating discomfort are disastrous, a perfect example of killing with kindness.

This misguided anti-pain policy is perfectly illustrated by Obama’s plan to soften the consequences of criminal behavior–early release of some 6000 supposedly non-violent convicted felons, revising mandatory federal sentencing laws, prohibiting federal agencies to ask about criminal convictions in initial job screening (banning the box) and perhaps most of all, pressuring local police departments to lighten up on enforcing laws against African Americans (e.g., ending racial profiling).

But, far worse is Obama administration’s effort to shield black K-12 students from punishment. This is a politically driven policy detached from reality, and that this bogus “kindness” appears to be wildly popular among many blacks only adds insult to injury.

All learning necessarily involves pain so attending school means suffering. That’s why school is compulsory and the parents of truants are punished by fines and jail time. Students must be in school regardless of contrary inclination or minor health problems, learn to sit still, suppress their urge to socialize with classmates (or gossip on cell phones), master uninteresting subjects, obey orders from adults, go to the bathroom and eat only at scheduled times, and experience the damaged self-esteem that comes with publicly screwing up. Even more distressful will be the regular punishment for violating standards of school conduct: being chided by sarcastic teachers, after-school detention, calling parents in and for particularly serious violations, suspensions, expulsions and at least in some schools (mainly in the South), corporal punishment. In a sense, school learning is about pain management.

Now for the unspeakable truth: many—perhaps most–underclass children, regardless of race, require remedial, forceful socialization to compensate for the deficiencies of their home and community environments. School administrators need not worry about the children of Tiger Moms running wild given their already laudable disciplinary habits. Matters are quite different, however, when children grow up in chaos, lack adult supervision, have minimal self-control and similar traits needed for academic achievement. It is hardly accidental that authoritarian, highly structured, discipline-heavy Catholic schools often out-perform public schools with troubled under-class students.

Now, given plain-to-see inner-city schools filled with disorderly students, how might the Obama administration help improve educational outcomes? Should the Department of Education fund “best practices” research on schools that have successfully put youngsters on the straight and narrow? What about laws that indemnify school personnel from frivolous litigation if a teacher pushes junior when breaking up a classroom fight?

No such luck. Instead, the Obama administration focuses on racial disparities in punishment as if unequal punishments were cause of dreadful educational outcomes. Now, ending inequality of punishment—disparate impact in legalese–outranks discipline as the pathway to black academic progress. Thus, in 2014 and cheered on by civil rights activists and many African Americans, both the Department of Justice and the Education Department issued new (though non-binding) guidelines to ensure that minority students were punished through expulsion, suspensions and other measures at the same proportions as their white (and assumingly, Asian) classmates (the “African American Education Initiative”). The underlying logic here is that penalizing African American students at the same rate as white students would slow the notorious school-to-prison-pipeline. Of course this public reasoning is a smoke screen—proportionality is just a façade to reduce the suspending or expelling of blacks.

Tellingly, Obama’s Executive Order uses language suggesting that black students just happened to encounter this unpleasant experience. Zero about what instigated punishment or how misbehavior destroyed the education of others. In a mind-boggling statement, the then Attorney General Eric Holder asserted that “This guidance will promote fair and effective disciplinary practices that will make schools safe, supportive and inclusive for all students.” Safer? And, if schools were clueless on what to do, districts also received a directory of federal school discipline resources plus an online catalog of relevant laws and regulations.

This softening of punishment may be spreading beyond presidential edicts. The New York City school chancellor recently proposed regulations that would forbid teachers from removing from class students who disrupted their classmate’s ability to learn, engaged in obscene behavior, or were insubordinate. The city council speaker, who is contemplating running for mayor, complained that these suggested changes didn’t go far enough.

Everything is absolutely Orwellian. According to one educator, kicking disruptors out of school deprives the miscreant of “valuable learning time” and often result from “mere” defiance of authority, not actual criminality. Meanwhile, punitive measures create “barriers” to graduation all the while hindering adult accomplishment. Suggested instead is “restorative justice”—permit youngsters to reflect on their behavior and then repair the damage done to others so as to build a “more equitable learning environment.” Discussing micro-aggressions is also encouraged. Going unmentioned, of course, are the classmates and teachers now happily liberated from trouble-makers.

Clearly, this discipline-by-quota will further racial segregate public schools since many disruptive blacks will go unpunished unless whites up their misbehavior so administrators can easily be even-handed. And better students of all races will predictably flee when miscreants discover their new-found diplomatic immunity. Ironically, the perfect tactic to eliminate disparate impact will be to create racially homogeneous schools, no doubt a god-send for administrators who can now freely expel half or more of the students and concentrate on those anxious to learn.

Unfortunately, the problem here runs deeper than Obama’s twisted vision of “good” (i.e., proportional) school discipline. If that were the only problem, the mess will disappear in 2017. Alas, the aversion to painless learning has infiltrated our DNA so retuning to the earlier era of domesticating young mischief- makers has become unthinkable. Picture the community outrage if the desperate principal at Thomas Hobbes Middle School brought back from retirement that take-no-prisoners, she-who-must-be-obeyed nun, Sister Anna Marie Godzilla, to terrify youngsters into learning? What parent would admit that their little darling makes learning impossible for everyone?

Ours is now the painless world of Sesame Street-style entertainment, computer games, field trips to museums, hands-on group projects that require no memorization or drill. Consider what recently occurred at New York City’s discipline-oriented charter school, Success Academy. To condense a long story, this school stresses order enforced by punishments but when it discovered that the school was ridding itself of its most disruptive students, embarrassed school officials had to apologize, calling a once secret “got to go” list an administrative error. Indeed, the Success Academy is being condemned for achieving its academic accomplishments by expelling chronic trouble-makers. What’s next— accusing MIT and Caltech of deceit by refusing to admit mediocre applicants? Perhaps troublemakers are now deemed endangered species needing federal protection.

By any objective standard, President Obama and his co-believers are undermining the education of young African Americans. Why? Two possibilities suggest themselves. First, thanks to their ideologically corrupted thinking they are well-intentioned but misguided. They honestly believe that leveling expulsions rates will boost black achievement levels and they are impervious to reason or evidence.

The second explanation is darker: educational attainment is filtered through a muddled Marxism definition of equality. So, given a choice between wide race-related outcomes where some excel versus a society where everybody is barely able to read, the latter outshines the former. Better everyone suffers than just a few prosper. Thus understood, whatever the source of their thinking, Obama and other ideologues reject educational excellence though they are will to spend billions to sustain the charade.

Knesset Member Launches Symbolic Campaign to Label European Products to Protest ‘Antisemitic’ Policy

Different groups have different interests. The interests of Jews, Europeans and Muslims conflict.

Jews used to call for Palestinians to fight for their cause without violence, but that’s what BDS is — fighting for the Palestinians without violence. Jews don’t like it because it is against their interest.

Any healthy group fights for its interests and when necessary, does it with deception and terror.

REPORT: Israeli Knesset member Michael Oren has launched a campaign to label European products in Israeli supermarkets, ahead of the European parliament’s announcement of guidelines on how to label Israeli products from the settlements in the West Bank.

“We want to show the Europeans how we feel when they mark our products,” said Oren, speaking to Israeli Channel 2‘s Oded Ben-Ami from the aisles of an unnamed Israeli supermarket.

Oren, who posted a video of the interview on his Facebook page, clarified that he was not calling for a boycott, “but just as the Europeans want consumers to know where the Israeli products are coming from, it’s also important that Israelis know that the moment they purchase crackers from Spain or beer from Belgium, you see, or chocolates from Germany, they should know that they are supporting policy that is actually antisemitic.”

The American-born Oren — who served as Israel’s ambassador to the US and subsequently wrote Ally: My Journey Across the American-Israeli Divide, a best-selling book about his experiences with the Obama administration — noted that although there are many territorial disputes and “occupations” in the world, the EU “does not label products from Turkey, China or India, just Israel.”

A Nation Of Immigrants

From JustNotSaid: The other day Ed Gendreau pointed out:

“People always say ‘We’re a nation of immigrants’ as a rationale to allow illegal immigrants to stay, find a path to citizenship, and so on. In other words, since we started that way, that path must be continued indefinitely. But aren’t we are also a nation born of, and founded by revolution? And does that mean we should continue to revolt? Why work with a dysfunctional government?”

Indeed.

A few other thoughts:

We’re a nation of slaveowners.

We’re a nation of indigenous people-killers.

We’re a nation of atomic bomb-droppers.

We’re a nation of Jim Crow law-enforcers.

We’re a nation of polluters.

We’re a nation of people who drove many animals, like the buffalo, to near extinction.

America’s Most Pro-Immigrant Groups

From Breitbart: A new report by the Pew Research Center reveals that views on immigration vary considerably according to religious affiliation, with Muslims and Hindus topping the charts of those who say that increased immigration into the U.S. represents “a change for the better.”

A majority of both Muslims (51%) and Hindus (61%) view expanding U.S. immigration favorably, with figures that are nearly double the percentage of Americans taken as a group. On average, only 26% of U.S. citizens see a greater influx of immigrants as a change for the better, while 35% consider the presence of more immigrants to be a change for the worse.

Only 15% of Muslims and 10% of Hindus consider the trend toward more U.S. immigration to be a change for the worse.

The only group of religious affiliation to compete with Muslims and Hindus in their appreciation for the presence of more immigrants is the category of self-identified atheists, of whom nearly half (47%) believe that a growing immigrant presence is a positive adjustment in U.S. society. Only 14% of atheists believe the presence of more immigrants in America to be a negative thing.

By contrast, the religious group that views growing immigration in American society most negatively is Evangelical Protestants. Nearly half of Evangelicals (48%) see the increase in immigration in a negative light, while only 17% of this group sees augmented immigration as an improved situation.

The Hazards Of Driving While Black

From JustNotSaid:

But a quick look at the statistics shows that black people are in far, far more danger from other black people than they are from the police. From 1994 to 2008, 93% of black murder victims were killed by other blacks (84% of white victims were killed by other whites).

As of July 29th of this year, 174 blacks had been killed by the police, and 321 whites had been. (Given that blacks commit slightly over half of the homicides in this country, they seem, if anything, to be underrepresented by these numbers.)

But, given that both of the people pictured above had bad experiences, their gut reactions to being in close proximity to the police is understandable. (Particularly given the constant media drumbeat against the police.)

But here’s another interesting statistic: when whites commit a violent crime, they choose black victims 3.9% of the time, whereas when blacks commit a violent crime, they choose white victims 47.7% of the time. (Bear in mind, there are three major categories of violent crime beside murder: assault and battery, armed robbery, and rape.)

So if whites are fearful of blacks, that is only natural as well. But if a white, who, say, had been mugged by a black once, ever said, “Every time I see a back person, I get a cold chill,” or, “Whenever one of them is near, I don’t feel comfortable,” he would be considered an evil person. Especially by the  New York Times.

Yet his reaction would be as natural as that of the two black men above who felt they had been unjustly harassed by the police.

Why are some natural reactions to traumatic experiences acceptable, yet others aren’t?

In today’s NY Times editorial section, Maureen Dowd said, in reference to the Benghazi hearings, “Hillary Clinton is never more alluring than when a bunch of pasty-faced, nasty-tongued white men bully her.”

What would happen to a mainstream journalist who referred to, say, “a bunch of mud-colored, nasty-tongued black men?” Obviously, it would bring swift censure and an end to his career.

The New York Times has always been one of the chief enforcers of double standards. The good news is, more and more people seem to be waking up to this hypocrisy.
