Ben Silverman was a pleasure to assist for two weeks in June 1997 at the William Morris agency.
Then he opened the private email of his London assistant who had been chatting with me and wanting to see the first chapter of my new book on the history of sex in film. When Ben tried to print out the document, it jammed his printer. He called William Morris screaming and got me fired not just from William Morris but from my temp agency as well.
This was one of those rare times in my life when I desperately needed money.
Such a shame to see him having a hard time at NBC. It pains me terribly.
All the character traits I experienced are now getting him into trouble. When you make a lot of needless enemies, these things happen. I knew him on his way up and I’m sure I’ll bump into him again as he goes down.
