Ten days ago on Facebook, I read about the plans of a friend of mine to move to Israel.
I messaged him seeking permission to blog about his move.
He asked me why I thought it was news-worthy and I couldn’t explain it and he said no, he didn’t think it was a story.
But I knew in my gut it was a story.
I made him promise not to give any interviews on the subject to other outlets and I let it go.
Now I see the matter is a cover story in this week’s Jewish Journal (my friend is not mentioned).
