* I’m seriously starting to think that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln may soon be put on the political chopping-block as well given that their outspoken “racism” was vastly worse than that of poor Wilson, plus they mostly supported slavery or even owned slaves themselves.
Can anyone think of the last time this has happened in a major country not undergoing a Communist revolution or a foreign occupation or something like that?
* Lincoln mass murdered white Americans, not blacks. Sure, he was openly racist and horrified with black people. Most blacks are fine with this simplification of him as the good guy. He did play a large role in emancipating black slaves.
* Princeton has 5,500 undergrads. 17 students managed to browbeat the administration like this? That’s pathetic.
* I have long suspected that the Jefferson Memorial will be renamed the Sally Hemings Memorial for Victims of Sexual Assault any day now.
Of course it is odd to see this sort of thing happening in the USA today; although this is precisely the kind of thing that has happened in previous revolutions (as in, France, Russia, etc.) What is mystifying to me however is that this “revolution” is not be led by a intelligentsia minority that seeks (or claims to seek) the betterment of 90% indigent peasants or what have you. This is simply a small and vocal minority that seems to have terrified the powerful simply by raising their voices.
It’s very strange theater.
