WP: Camerawoman who tripped Syrian migrant launches (likely fruitless) battle against Internet rage

Comments at the Washington Post:

* Good for her. If I saw a trespasser running from the cops I’d tackle him too.

In a functional culture the police and the citizens are on the same team.

* If I saw someone running from police custody, and knew they were an illegal immigrant in my county–I would trip them, too. Good for you, Petra. At least someone is standing up to this refugee scam. 80% are men–Iraqui army deserters, Syrian draft dodgers and on and on ad nauseum. This is what Hungarian police have had to put up with as they have tried to protect their borders based on EU (and international) law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0CF9c8B_3M These animals don’t mind holding an innocent child out to get tear-gassed…this is the other side of this media farce–why don’t we see it?

* Just another example of how the CDA needs to be amended to allow for lawsuits against service providers. They should not be allowed to get away with allowing this crap on their services. Newspapers and TV stations can be sued for false or malicious content they publish or broadcast, but internet providers get off scott free while people’s lives get ruined. Does this woman really deserve to be unable to feed her kids? Does she deserve death threats? Does anybody?
