Mayor’s Residence Gets Security Upgrade

ERSnews.com reports:

ERSNews has learned that Getty House, the official residence of the Mayor of Los Angeles was scheduled to get an upgrade to enhance security of the property. The residence was to have an anti vehicle system installed such as the one pictured below to thwart any potential car or trucks that may want to come onto the property.

…Work on the system was due to start early this week. ERSNews has learned when the crew arrived to work on the installation on Tuesday (8/14/07) the work was mysteriously halted at the residence.

Just who was in charge of the project and whos was going paying for is still unknown. What is certain is that work was stopped on this project right after ERSNews made queries.

The current resident of Getty Houses, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, has been fending off reporters over his affair with Telemundo reporter Mirthala Salinas over the past month.
