For the curious they can Google around for stories about ‘Donny the punk’, a person who got gang raped then later traded sex to get by in the prison culture.
* By all accounts, white males are the most common rape victims in prison, with black males the most common perpetrators. So it’s only natural that the NYT finds a LBGTetc black person to be its national spokescreature.
BTW, prison rape is so common that the first fact mentioned above also means white males are the most common victims anywhere. You won’t be reading that fact in the NYT or elsewhere for that matter.
* We really ought to arm prison inmates. That would go a long ways to cleaning up the prisons.
