The War On Japan

This Australian news report stresses that Japan must absorb lots of non-Japanese. Here is the description from 2005: “Japan’s population is shrinking faster than any other developed nation’s. Hostility towards immigrants is preventing it welcoming in the foreign workers who could revitalise its economy.”

Narrator: “When it comes to foreign workers, especially those from poorer countries, Japan’s welcome quickly disappears. Last year, just over 60,000 foreign workers entered the country, but the United Nations estimates ten times that amount are needed every year just to maintain its labor force. The few who are allowed in are mostly white, wealthy and well-educated.”

The news report’s expert is a black professor. There are very few blacks in Japan and Japanese tend to react to blacks with fear and horror.

This black professor “is an advocate for the rights of foreign workers.”

Reporter: “Even though these Brazilians have Japanese ancestry, they are not treated like most Japanese citizens.”

Black professor: “Japanese society did not get ready for the new reality — foreigners are coming… due to a Japanese need.”

Reporter: “But the government has been slow to protect to immigrants. Instead putting a bigger effort into cracking down on a reported 200,000 people who’ve overstayed their visas. Police search for suspicious foreigners who’ve been blamed for rising crime levels. Public notices warn of bad foreigner crime and on the Department of Immigration’s website, citizens are invited to dob in a foreigner.”

“Although this far-right group is largely ignored, a government sponsored poll found that 83% of the country oppose increased immigration.”

A Japanese professor says: “I think we should take in more skilled workers.”

Reporter: “Even though it clearly needs people, Japan has been reluctant to increase its racial mix…”

“So cautious has the country been, it is now in danger of losing the workers it is trying to attract…”

“But it is the poorer workers who present the greatest challenge for integration into Japanese society.”

Black professor: “There is no way out. We have to count on foreigners to build, to stabilize Japanese society.”

How dare the Japanese try to maintain their people and civilization and not be mutts like the rest of us!

Chaim Amalek: “What is most impressive about the Japanese is that even after years of American occupation, they managed to maintain their coherence as a people. They held it together even as all of Europe fell apart.”
