Sons Of Liberty

I just watched this History Channel miniseries on the founding of the United States and I was sickened by the lack of people of color. In this TV show, all of the main character are white. Sure, that might be historically true that the people who created the United States of America were white Christians, but if I squint my eyes, I can just as easily see mestizo Mexicans founding America, writing the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. If I squint my eyes again, I see the descendants of black African slaves founding this country. If I squint my eyes again, I can see Chinese immigrants writing the Declaration of Independence and founding this great country. What’s race got to do with it?

I’m watching this History Channel show, The Men Who Built America. Once again, they’re all white. I bet mestizo Mexican day laborers or African immigrants could have done just as well as Vanderbilt, Rockefeller and company if they had only had Head Start programs.

Is it true that half-breeds (half Korean) are never accepted in Korea or (half-Japs) in Japan? Would Japan really be a more harmonious country it it imported millions of Africans, Mexicans and Muslims? If not, why would America be a better place for such immigrants?
