Why Is The President Always Talking To College Students?

On his radio show today, Dennis Prager said: “Have you noticed how often the president’s speeches are to college students? There’s a patronizing element. You are kids and I can sell you anything. And he can. They sit there starry-eyed and the president is going to whip big business. He is the man of the future.

“If you are not as support as he is of wind power, solar power and biofuels, then you are the equivalent of those who said to Columbus, don’t sail forth. The earth is flat.

“I don’t know how many people said to Columbus, don’t sail. You’ll fall of the earth.

“It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone of the left say anything positive about Christopher Columbus. Normally he’s described as a genocidal maniac.”

According to Wikipedia: “The misconception that educated Europeans at the time of Columbus believed in a flat Earth, and that his voyages refuted that belief, has been referred to as “The Myth of the Flat Earth”.[6] In 1945, it was listed by the Historical Association (of Britain) as the second of 20 in a pamphlet on common errors in history.”
