The past couple of weeks, I’ve felt a surge of affection for Newt Gingrich. I know he’s an egomaniac who’d probably be a terrible president, but I felt an urge to vote for him anyway.
Then last night he said he supported amnesty for illegal aliens who’ve been here for a long time. And now I’m feeling turned off to Gingrich and leaning toward Mitt Romney.
The former Massachusetts governor is definitely more reliable, more mature, and a better manager than Newt Gingrich. He’s probably more conservative than Newt.
