PJC gets about 40 men and 20 women on a typical Shabbos morning. I doubt there’s a large enough critical mass to support a young rabbi. How would the rabbi afford a house in the area? Maybe the shul is more suited to a retired rabbi.
I wonder what this will do for the prospects for an eruv in Venice. Without it, PJC is crippled.
