Failed Messiah broke this story.
The Rubashkin Sentencing keeps on being delayed repeatedly, with the reason being given, in order to give the defendant more time to pay the $450,000 in restitution.
The next scheduled hearing date is set for Nov, 3, 2008 but Rubashkin is expected to pull the same trick then as he did now and to keep on delaying the sentencing indefinitely so that he can avoid having to serve his expected Jail time as part of the Plea Bargain agreement.
Everyone knows that Moshe Rubashkin has no income. The Vaad hakohol and being on the Board of Directors of the CHJCC, is not a paying job and Rubashkin has no other job either.
Obviously the payment of $450,000 can only be paid by his father who is not known to be strapped for cash.
Only a Corrupt Judge and Prosecutor could, justify rewarding a criminal for his not keeping his part of the plea agreement!
Here is the Deal:
If Moshe Rubashkin pays the full $450,000 in restitution at once, he will be immediately sentenced to several years in Jail as agreed in the Plea Bargain.
However, If Moshe Rubashkin keeps on dragging his feet and pays only $100,000 now, and later, in a few months from now, (By Nov 3, 2008,) he merely throws them anther token of another $50,000 and so on, he is actually REWARDED for it by being able to avoid doing any Jail Time, with the excuse that he still "Needs More Time" to pay the rest of the restitution money ! ! !
How is this possible?
The Rubashkin family are major Republican Contributors and the names of the Judge and Prosecutors have to return the favor for their Republican Contributors.

The US Attorney who was handling the Rubashkin case form day one was an aide to Republican Senator Arlen Specter.
Patrick L. Meehan is now a former US Attorney. He resigned to go intoprivate practice.

"PHILADELPHIA — Conrad O’Brien Gellman & Rohn, P.C. is pleased to announce that Patrick L. Meehan, one of the most respected U.S. Attorneys in the country, has joined the firm as a shareholder effective July 21. His practice will focus on representing multi-national corporations and individuals in white collar criminal matters, internal corporate investigations and a wide range of corporate commercial litigation.
Mr. Meehan served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania since 2001. His work on public corruption, corporate and health care/pharmaceutical fraud and counter-terrorism has earned him national recognition. In fact, early on in his tenure, Mr. Meehan was selected by President George W. Bush to serve as one of six U.S. Attorneys on the President’s Corporate Fraud Task Force."
Amazingly Meehan (The Us Attorney who was prosecuting Rubashkin) sent out a Pres release on the very same day that Rubashkin was to be sentenced!
Here is Meehan’s press release sent out on July 16th 2008 – the same day Rubashkin was to have been sentenced (you think it’s a coincidence???).
When asked why he chose Conrad O’Brien to re-enter private practice, Mr. Meehan responded:

"The firm has earned a reputation for handling some of the most sensitive, complex and difficult criminal and investigatory matters facing major companies, financial institutions and directors and officers around the country. I am excited about the opportunity to work with my predecessors and former colleagues from the U.S. Attorney’s office, including former U.S. Attorney and U.S. District Court Chief Judge Louis Bechtle. The firm is widely regarded as having one of the most powerful teams for ‘high stakes’ litigation matters, and I look forward to working shoulder to shoulder with its outstanding lawyers."
One Crown heights Resident interviewed by a DaasHakohol.com reporter put it this way:
"For the right price, justice can be "bought" in the US. and if O.J. Simpson can get away with Murder, why not Moshe Rubashkin too?"
Another Crown Heights Resident told DaasHakohol.com:
"If Rubashkin can pay off his Rav to get him any Psak Din he Wants, why should he not do the same with the Prosecutor and Judge in this case?"
"Money Talks", he said.
