LAT: ‘Two down: Obama ends first half of term with big victories’

The Los Angeles Times says: “President Obama chalks up victories on taxes and ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ as the first half of his presidential term ends. He’s getting a fresh look from voters as engaged and involved — a deal maker.”

If this is true, why is President Obama’s approval rating below that of George W. Bush?

People like Obama personally and hate his socialist agenda. This agenda is the mainstream Democratic agenda and it would not be much different if Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton were president.
