I’m Gonna Start Praying For Those Dirty Little Whores

As I walk around Los Angeles, I see a lot of barely-dressed beautiful women.

It makes me angry that I can’t bang them all.

"I hate it when you use the word ‘bang,’" Cathy Seipp would tell me.

"OK. It makes me mad that I can’t pork them all."

"I prefer ‘bang’ then."

Here’s a great solution. Instead of cursing these tramps, I should pray for them.

I might actually do this but if I lost my anger I wouldn’t blog as much. I’d be happier but not as funny.

A minister’s wife writes on MySpace:

All this talk now on "ta ta’s in the church" has caused a great conversation to begin on something that definitely needed to be talked about.  Rather than posting what I have to say today in response to it all in the same blog or in hundreds of email responses, I thought it would be best to just start a new one as time is limited for me.  Sadly, the message in this blog might not be as popular.

So?!  Now guys are coming out of the word work and saying for the record that YES, seeing ta ta’s (breasts or cleavage) accentuated in church is  a problem for them and one they wish their sister’s in Christ would take more seriously.   Some responses have looked written in anger.  Which is totally understandable.  However we do need to remember Jesus response.  It was always done in love.  Whether that love was for the person in question or that love was for His Father and How he reverenced God.

So?  What would Jesus tell the men to do regarding "that woman" who is causing them to stumble?   Easy… pray for her.

My husband once told me that a sure bet to end lusting for a woman was to pray for her.  He said that this is something that he learned while at Pure Life Ministries.
They counseled the men to pray for women (or men) in public who distracted them from what they had set out to accomplish in that day.  So… my husband has prayed for women he doesn’t know in church, at the gas pump, at the grocery store, at work, and even on the highway.

I believe this is wisdom.

So, the next time you see a woman who is dressed provocatively — stop staring at her and start praying for her.  Intercede for her soul.  Ask God to work in her life and bring her to a place of freedom in HIM.  This is love.  This is freedom for YOU.

My friend Shelley Lubben writes:

Well, it looks like my team and I are ready for the AVN Porn Convention. I want to thank all of you who donated to this outreach to reach out to porn stars. They are going to love the gifts you sent in! Many of you are extremely generous and loving and will really make a difference in the precious lives of men and women in the adult film industry.

I am very excited to go and to just love on the porn stars and workers in the porn industry. My team and I are very loving and have nothing planned except to come in a Spirit of love and gentleness to the porn stars. Some have spread rumors that we come in harshness and with so-called bodyguards but it’s aboslutely not true. We are bringing two strong men to quietly watch over female volunteers who walk around the hotels. We are concerned about their safety being around so many stimulated porn fans (over 200,000) and want to take precautions. But trust me, our team is made mostly up of women. It’s funny how other organizations can go to the porn convention with men but we can’t? But the rumor that I have a "bodyguard" is not true. Jesus is my bodyguard!
