Ex-sex worker Dawn Reinas writes:
Saving Sex City is a term used by Annie Lobert and Heather Veitch to describe their most recent endeavor of dressing into showgirl outfits and holding up signs about Jesus loving hookers, pimps, etc. While I do agree that God loved these people and sent Jesus into the world to die for them, I do not agree with dressing as harlots (showgirls wear harlot costumes) and drawing attention to themselves using worldly methods. Also, the FULL gospel message is not being preached. When I say "worldly methods" I am specifically talking about worldly methods that violate scripture, such as dressing in harlot costumes or using sex to sell Jesus the same the world uses sex to advertise products.
