A few weeks ago, Shalhevet announced it was closing its K-8th grade schools to focus solely on its high school.
In response, a group of parents got together to raise money to reverse this decision.
The Shalhevet board and administrators are pleasantly surprised by this upswell of community support and it just might be enough to reopen K-8th grade.
