A Daughter Searches For Her Father’s Murderers

Rachel (Desert Fae) emails:

Hi,

I ran across the article or rather, profile of Danny Casoloro/INSLAW/Octopus on this site. Do you have contact with the guy [John Connolly] that wrote it?

I ask because I’m the daughter of one of the murder victims in the Octopus and have contact with many he mentioned in the article, and some not mentioned.

I’m walking the same path Danny walked, trying to find out why my dad and his friends were murdered. It’s like I have gotten myself mixed up in this not even meaning to, and have had a bunch of weird things happen to me. Literally, I throw some videos up and people just come out of the woodworks left and right.

I’m a supervisor at a call center for tech support, turned spy apparently. I’m dealing with all these shady underground and ex CIA guys that I have no idea who to trust, and who not to.

I also have been publishing all of my findings on my site, and in videos that are all over the internet, mainly youtube.. I have some info that I’ve made a video for, but haven’t uploaded yet, because I’m afraid when I do, that it will cause a huge firestorm, and we (my family and I will get hurt)… but at the same time, I think those videos have saved our asses because I’m being so open about it all… so I’m afraid not to upload it at the same time.

It’s very true, in finding out all of this stuff, you really don’t know who you can trust, and who you can’t. One day you think one of your contacts is awesome, the next you wonder if they have contacts to have you killed.

My dad is Ralph Boger. He was killed with Fred Alvarez and Patty Castro. Check the Desert Sun newspaper. His name and Fred’s name are all over it. 20/20 also did a piece on my dad and Fred.

Both my family and Fred’s family never saw the bodies. I’m not sure about Patty’s family cause I can’t seem to locate them at all. In our case, they told us that his body was in too bad of shape to see after the murder so we didn’t even get to ID it, they said they cremated it and spread his ashes so we never even got those. They (the government) bulldozed down Fred’s house like 2 days later and Fred’s motorcycle was missing too.

Interesting note, you know how they found the wine when Danny was killed? They found wine at my dad’s murder too and my dad, Fred and Patty didn’t drink wine, maybe beer, but not wine. And it’s also interesting to note that they supposedly didn’t find any drugs in their system. My dad was a pothead, they should have found something.

Anyway, when I was like 13 me and my step-mom went to get my dad’s bus in Ridgecrest (hundreds of miles away) and found his dog, Pal that was at the scene of the murders. The police told us he ran off and died in the heat. When we found him we got shot at and pretty much left with nothing but a box (it had a bunch of weird stuff in it, only stuff I knew about). We went straight to the police station to tell them about the dog and getting shot at and we were told to "forget it happened".

Later on when I was 16 I got my drivers license (I was already living on my own then because I had my daughter at 15) and decided to see if I could figure out what happened cause the police were no help (and still aren’t). I started getting death threats over the phone when I started calling around. I didn’t have a clue about any of the INSLAW stuff or anything. I just knew he was killed. I went to the murder scene, a field of sand then, and talked to people and then I went to the police dept and flipped out on them telling them I wanted them to do something about the murder. The head of homicide took me into a room and told me to shut up and not to snoop around anymore because someone was in the witness protection program and if I didn’t they would die.

So I basically didn’t do anything till like 2 months ago. I did a search online for my dad’s name and ran across some stuff, started reading and the next day called the police in California. The homicide guy seemed like he didn’t have a clue about anything, not even my dad’s or Fred’s name. He apparently wasn’t from California originally so he hadn’t heard of the case. I told him all I read online and told him that they need to look into the case and ‘squash’ the conspiracy theories on the net. He said he’d look into it and call back.

So like five hours past and he called. He said he got a chance to look over a lot of the stuff online and the files on the murders that they had and he confirmed it all to me that all this really happened and my dad, Fred and Patty’s murders were directly related to all of this. I asked if he was going to start investigating the case because this is really big and he told me it’s not a priority at all. So began my journey into this.

I figured if they weren’t going to find out, I would. Little did I know how big this is. Bill Hamilton had a saying "every rock you pick up has maggots under it". It’s true.
