ADHD

I’m listening to this lecture and I feel like it explains many of my childhood and early adulthood problems that mystified me and others. I started getting relief from this with Alexander Technique starting in 2008. Apparently, half of adults in the U.S. with ADHD are undiagnosed, and that psychiatry can do far more for ADHD than it can for anxiety and depression. People related to me also have this problem with a continual yearning for stimulation that is rarely met in reality so one leaves for a fantasy world at a severe cost of normal functioning in real life. Apparently, the number one area of your life destroyed by ADHD is education (which depends upon delayed gratification) followed by work and relationships.
