Hillary’s Alt-Right Speech

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* NBC’s First Read

What does the “Alt Right” mean?

At 3:00 pm ET, Hillary Clinton will deliver remarks from Reno, NV tying Donald Trump to the conservative ‘Alt Right” movement. But what does the Alt Right mean? We surveyed some Republicans and journalists and organizations who’ve observed the movement:
…….

•The Washington Post’s Dave Weigel, who has written about the movement: “Conservatives opposed to the philosophy of ‘invade the world, invite the world.’”

* The anti-Alt-Right stuff by Hillary is not aimed at Jewish donors; Big Money including Jewish donors are hard for her already, figuring she’s the favorite. Don’t want to be left out in the cold not donating to the Clinton Foundation Stash for Cash Dash do we?

Its aimed at White women, White professional women in particular. Hillary! neither wants nor needs White men supporters. Like all “Mean Girls” her politics is aimed at excluding people and demonizing large segments of the population, not an inclusive spoils politics for everyone. She’s not a Happy Warrior; rather the nasty Witch of the East.

Her speech no doubt is aimed at painting Trump Male Supporters as icky, awful, “racist” beta males who no woman worth anything sexually or socially would have anything to do with. Its more “social status” messaging and is likely to be powerful. Heartiste detects some PUA guy helping her campaign and this seems part of it.

Face it, Hillary! being the personification of angry, man-hating Lesbianism is not going to get much in the way of White Male votes. But she is quite likely to get over 70% of the White female vote among the Professional classes the way things are going.

Trump better respond with “Hillary will provoke a War with Russia that gets young women drafted and killed” ad.

* The left has a hard time grasping the idea that there exists a bunch of internet Trolls without wealthy donors funding and organizing them. It would be hard to find someone big (rich) enough to point fingers at when taking on the aspect of the Alt-Right that drives the big shoe activists and media the most nuts. Can anyone actually see Hillary holding up some picture of a cartoon frog avatar with a bad pun for a name and calling them a public enemy? I think she will call Breitbart a hate site, give some choice quotes from there ‘bout the blacks, and focus on Trumps campaign manager running it while mean commentary happened. She could end it with a tearful recounting of the Ghostbusters black lady star being bullied and hacked though. Probably call for Trump to disavow his stained shirts on Twitter. I doubt we will see specific HBD nerds, pickup artists, discussion board dads and Trolls denounced beyond that Breitbart guy, so everyone needs to curb their enthusiasm that this is going to launch their hate career into the mainstream.

NYT: Anne Frank Today Is a Syrian Girl

Is Anne Frank a Palestinian girl? A Ukrainian girl? An Iranian girl? An Iraqi girl?

So Anne Frank stands in for whatever cause you want to embrace. Got it.

Nicholas Kristof writes:

AMSTERDAM — On April 30, 1941, a Jewish man here in Amsterdam wrote a desperate letter to an American friend, pleading for help emigrating to the United States.

“U.S.A. is the only country we could go to,” he wrote. “It is for the sake of the children mainly.”

A volunteer found that plea for help in 2005 when she was sorting old World War II refugee files in New York City. It looked like countless other files, until she saw the children’s names.

“Oh my God,” she said, “this is the Anne Frank file.” Along with the letter were many others by Otto Frank, frantically seeking help to flee Nazi persecution and obtain a visa to America, Britain or Cuba — but getting nowhere because of global indifference to Jewish refugees.

We all know that the Frank children were murdered by the Nazis, but what is less known is the way Anne’s fate was sealed by a callous fear of refugees, among the world’s most desperate people.

Sound familiar?

President Obama vowed to admit 10,000 Syrian refugees — a tiny number, just one-fifth of 1 percent of the total — and Hillary Clinton suggested taking more. Donald Trump has repeatedly excoriated them for a willingness to welcome Syrians and has called for barring Muslims. Fears of terrorism have left Muslim refugees toxic in the West, and almost no one wants them any more than anyone wanted a German-Dutch teenager named Anne.

“No one takes their family into hiding in the heart of an occupied city unless they are out of options,” notes Mattie J. Bekink, a consultant at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. “No one takes their child on a flimsy boat to cross the Mediterranean unless they are desperate.”

The son of a World War II refugee myself, I’ve been researching the anti-refugee hysteria of the 1930s and ’40s. As Bekink suggests, the parallels to today are striking.

For the Frank family, a new life in America seemed feasible. Anne had studied English shorthand, and her father spoke English, had lived on West 71st Street in Manhattan, and had been a longtime friend of Nathan Straus Jr., an official in the Franklin Roosevelt administration.

So perhaps Syrian refugees should go to Israel?

Nicholas Kristof doesn’t bother arguing that taking in Syrian refugees would be good for America. He doesn’t argue that they should go to the Jewish state. He just wants gentile states to swallow this poison.

The Complicated Appeal of the Harambe Meme

The New York Times says: “The meme has also been used to spread harmful messages…”

Ohmigod, not harmful messages? That’s horrible. So sad. The MSM would never spread harmful messages, right?

War Dogs

Steve Sailer writes:

War Dogs’ closest comparison is to Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. But Scorsese didn’t have the courage to make the ethnic angle explicit. In his memoir, embezzler Jordan Belfort had explained the animus that motivated him:

I came to realize that the WASPs were yesterday’s news, a seriously endangered species no different than the dodo bird or spotted owl. And while it was true that they still had their little golf clubs and hunting lodges as last bastions against the invading shtetl hordes, they were nothing more than twentieth-century Little Big Horns on the verge of being overrun by savage Jews like myself…

Still, you can’t blame Scorsese. First, he is in the business of making big-budget movies with the vaguely Slavic Leonardo DiCaprio as his star. While a tremendous leading man, DiCaprio, unlike Scorsese’s former main man Robert De Niro, can’t play Jewish.

Second, although Scorsese is a living legend, he’s Italian, not Jewish. So does he really need the risk? How’s Mel Gibson’s career doing?

The Wolf’s lack of courage left an opening for Hill to move up to the alpha role in War Dogs, in which Phillips is explicit about where its antiheroes are coming from: Miami Beach. (The film even changes Diveroli’s financial backer from the Mormon he was in real life to Kevin Pollak in a yarmulke.) Unlike in The Social Network, where Aaron Sorkin rationalized Mark Zuckerberg’s chicanery by painting an implausible portrait of a 21st-century Harvard where Jews are on the outside looking in, War Dogs doesn’t offer any excuses. Jonah Hill’s Efraim Diveroli isn’t a victim of stereotypes; he is a stereotype.

Critics, however, have mostly been baffled by War Dogs, wondering why isn’t this movie an exposé of Dick Cheney? And since it’s not, what in the world is this movie about anyway?

Well, War Dogs is, as Jonah Hill said, about “hustler Jews from Miami.” That’s a topic that Phillips and Hill obviously find amusing. Jewish entertainers satirizing Jewish machers has been a staple at least since The Producers.

But to most journalists these days, the concept of making fun of Jewish business ethics is not even a thought that can be put into words, rather like how in 1984 the Declaration of Independence can only be described as “crimethink.”

A lot of people give the movies a hard time for their political biases (for example, the surplus of black computer geniuses). And yet films like War Dogs often are more frank in showing human realities than the critics who claim to summarize their lessons for us.
