Video captured from Saturday’s protests in New York City appeared to show demonstrators apparently calling for the deaths of police officers, hours before violence on the Brooklyn Bridge marred the massive march in protest of police killings of black men, including Eric Garner on Staten Island.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows a few dozen protesters marching down Fifth Avenue at 32nd Street Saturday afternoon. After a few seconds of chanting “Hands up, don’t shoot,” the demonstrators changed their cry, apparently yelling out in unison “What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now.”

Dallas Police Chief David Brown said the prime suspect behind the sniper attack on police officers last night was a ‘Black Lives Matter’ sympathizer who “wanted to kill white people”.
Speaking to reporters just moments ago, Brown stated, “The suspect said he was upset about ‘Black Lives Matter’, he said he was upset about the recent police shootings.”
“The suspect said he was upset at white people, the suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers, the suspect said that we will eventually find the IEDs.”
Brown went on to relate how the suspect claims he is not affiliated with any groups and that he carried out the attack alone.
The shooter’s motivation confirms that he was radicalized by ‘Black Lives Matter’ and anti-white rhetoric that the media has been legitimizing for years.
President Obama has also supported ‘Black Lives Matter’ in previous statements.
Last year, Hillary Clinton also said she was willing to ‘change laws’ to appease ‘Black Lives Matter’ activists.

USA TODAY: GENEVA — In the latest move to deny citizenship to those who balk at Swiss culture, authorities rejected the naturalization application of two Muslim girls who refused to take school swimming lessons because boys were present.
The girls, ages 12 and 14, who live in the northern city of Basel, had applied for Swiss citizenship several months ago, but their request was denied, Swiss media reported Tuesday.
The girls, whose names were not disclosed, said their religion prevents them from participating in compulsory swimming lessons with males in the pool at the same time. Their naturalization application was rejected because the sisters did not comply with the school curriculum, Basel authorities said.
“Whoever doesn’t fulfill these conditions violates the law and therefore cannot be naturalized,” Stefan Wehrle, president of the naturalization committee, told TV station SRF on Tuesday.
The case shows how those who don’t follow Swiss rules and customs won’t become citizens, even if they have lived in the country for a long time, are fluent in one of the national languages — German, French or Italian — and are gainfully employed.
In April, members of an immigrant family in the Basel area were denied citizenship because they wore sweatpants around town and did not greet passersby — a sure sign that they were not sufficiently assimilated, the naturalization board claimed.

One of the police officers killed in the attack has been identified as 43-year-old Dart Officer Brent Thompson.
The shooters opened fire from ‘elevated positions’, picking off officers ‘ambush style’ as they manned a protest over the deaths of two black men – Philando Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling in Louisiana this week, police chief David Brown said.
A gruesome video shows a heroic policeman taking on one of the gunmen, but being gunned down and shot again execution-style from point-blank range.
Three of the gunmen are in custody. A fourth man, who was engaged in a shootout with police from a parking garage at El Centro College, has killed himself with a shot to the head. The gunman told officers bombs have been planted across Dallas and that ‘the end is coming’.
Before the fourth suspect was ‘neutralized’, Brown said he told negotiators ‘the end is coming, and he is going to hurt and kill more of us and that there are bombs all over the place in the garage and downtown’.
Police are investigating the claims.
A female who was in the same area as the gunman who shot himself is in custody, however Brown said: ‘We still don’t have complete comfort that we have all the suspects.’
Police said two people are being questioned after they were spotted speeding away from the scene of the shooting in a black Mercedes. An officer saw one of the pair hurriedly putting a camouflage bag in the back of the car before driving off ‘at a high rate of speed’.

Steve Sailer writes: I have a vague hunch that the growth of the transgender movement is somehow related to the Nerd Liberation movement, which was the most unexpected successful identity movement of my lifetime. It’s not clear if autism, Asperger’s, and/or nerdism is becoming more common, but it’s definitely more of an identity than it once was.
There has been a little research into this subject, breaking trans people up into three main categories:
– Effeminate early transitioning male to female trans individuals (ladyboys) are of course not very nerdy at all. They tend to be people persons (e.g., prostitutes) and not big on logic.
– Female to male trans are very nerdy.
– Late transitioning masculine male to female trans people (the Wachowskis, the baseball stats person, my MBA school teammate, the economist, etc.) tend to be at least as nerdy as the average man and much more nerdy than the average woman.
COMMENTS:
* That dovetails completely with the news friends dropped on me last October when I visited Spain: that my ex-brother-in-law (brother of my ex-wife, that is) had changed his name from Marc (or Marco, as they’d always known him) to “Mar,” and was now living in Madrid and getting hormone treatments etc. in order to “become a woman.”
A nerdier guy is hard to imagine, and he’s in his forties and a big sci-fi fan, with a longstanding slew of emotional and personality disorders.
Fortunately or unfortunately for him, he’s rich, so he can totally live the dream. On the other hand he’s also traditionally really hairy, which must complicate matters.
* The slightly less fringy version of that seems to be the techies’ quest for immortality, which was touched on by Franzen in his last novel.
* There might be a better word someone has come up with, but I’m increasingly using the term “biophobia” to describe resistance or aversion to the idea that biology and biological factors influence, constrain, or affect the human condition. You see it many places relevant to this blog: aversion to HBD, transgenderism, blank-slatism, nurture over nature, etc., and also in other areas I expect are of relevance to many readers of this blog (the analysis of sexual attraction that comes with Heartiste-style game/PUA examinations, for example).
It’s all the more interesting because in other areas, the idea that the natural world has imposed limits or constraints on human progress has become uncontroversial. Environmentalism is the best example. In thinking about human ability and the human form itself, though, the conventional wisdom seems firmly stuck somewhere around the mid-20th century.
* Trans women are overrepresented in my circle of (young, nerdy, autistic) people, so much that we discuss this all the time. There could definitely be multiple types/clades. If late-transitioning people used to be characteristic of the autistic clade, it could be the “nerd liberation” thing, and this type is transitioning much earlier now. Definitely not limited to manly men, as lots of them are quite feminine in appearance.
* A father of a transgender Assberger mentioned to me there had been a study. Something like 8% of Assbergers are somewhat transgender.
* There seems to be a behavioral cluster that involves comic books, sci-fi and Social Justice. My two most Social Justicey friends – one meal and one female – are not super nerdy, but they’re both heavily into sci-fi. They dress up like the characters and have big collections of toys and stuff.
* Science fiction writers seemed to have picked up on the fact that male sexual rejects tend to read their stuff. Many of their stories set in “the future” give the impression that sexual experience doesn’t exist as a current reality for the reader, but it might become possible some day, say, somewhere in the vicinity of the time it becomes possible to travel to Mars.
* The going theory of “trans”, among scientists who are brave enough to say it, is Blanchard’s typology: some younger homosexual transsexuals, and many, usually older, heterosexual autogynephile crossdressers. All of whom are now subsumed under “transgender”, because the crossdressing fetishist majority found it convenient to use the plight of the transsexual minority to gain political support.
So for the majority of male “transgenders”, it’s a sex fetish, heterosexuality taken to such an extreme they want to become the objects of their own lust. The common factor in nerdiness and autogynephile transgenderism is hypermasculinity.
In other World War T news: Google today inadvertently perpetrated Transphobic Crimethink by having a doodle to honor Nettie Stevens, the woman scientist who discovered sex chromosomes make you a man or a woman way back in 1905.
Fortunately, we’ve moved past all that essentialist nonsense in 2016, as a woman is anyone who says she is a woman, and you’d better agree if you know what’s good for you. Wikipedia’s small army of transgendered editors will surely be along any moment to put the offending page down the memory hole.
* With the late transitioners, might not money have something to do with it? I’ve often thought that after some people have a certain level of money they go loopy. All their basic needs are well met and then their minds wander, and where the mind wanders they actually have the money to entertain their thoughts.
* They may be both related to the over-surplus of males today. I’ve written about how it seems that female power grows when they are more males, and vice versa, due to the laws of supply and demand: the more the surplus of one sex, the more that sex caters to the whims of the minority sex due to mating needs.
So men at the bottom of the sexual marketplace “transition to female,” and thus :(1) avoid being the bottom of the male social order; (2) get to be “special” and noticeable; and (3) become part of the sex in more demand, immediately becoming more powerful. And there are so many “hungry” men that they might take a chance on a tranny in a moment of weakness (of course most tranny men just want lesbians, but that’s another topic, although probably related).
This is also why “gay men” become more prominent when societies are in soft times: soft times=fewer men dying in wars/hardships=surplus of men. Men who are naturally more submissive/don’t want to fight go gay to avoid dying over female mates.
* There’s a slightly alarming tendency among what Vox Day calls “Omega males” to desire castration in order to be set free from their unfulfilled desires…

I guess now that World War T is through, transracialism is next.
* It should be pointed out that both of these black guys were armed. The first guy, in Louisiana, shot by two white cops, in a manner reminiscent of the Fruitvale shooting a few years ago (suspect shot dead while on the ground), had been waving a gun around in front of a convenience store.
The second guy, in Minnesota, had a concealed weapon, but I don’t know why he informed the officer of it at that point. This shooting reminds me of the notorious South Carolina shooting a couple years back where the officer shot the black driver when he turned around to get his license.
Both of those officers got into big trouble. And at least the Minnesota guy will.
The thing the public misses in stories like this is that it’s obvious to me that a lot of police officers are scared. And I can’t blame them. Remember two officers were assassinated in NYC after the Eric Gardner death. Remember also that just 4 months after the Oscar Grant (Fruitvale) shooting, 4 Oakland policemen were killed by Lovelle Mixon. This definitely contributes to these spates of shootings. (Mixon was a black pimp wanted for multiple rapes, he died in the firefight.)
You can say that police officers should be better qualified, and better trained, but who are these guys anyway? The guy who killed Tamir Rice never should have had that job. When there was that riot at the Trump thing in San Jose a couple of months ago, I noted that most of the officers appeared to be either Asian or Latino. Apparently, fewer and fewer white guys want to be cops. Pretty soon, we can expect that the white population of the US will be involved in one of three jobs: managerial (including agriculture), office work (including academia, finance, and media), and retail. That means all the cops will be Asian, Latino, or Black.
I note that the shootings are being blamed on “racism.” Well, that’s always a possibility, and the reason is that most non-Blacks are afraid of Blacks. But this can’t be blamed on Whitey. This was an Asian guy. If you think that the interactions between Blacks and Whites involves some level of incomprehensibility, wait until it’s Blacks and Asians. They are like from different planets culturally.
However, the final bit about “racism”, which mentions the fact that “Blacks are more likely to be arrested for violent crimes”, etc. is not about racism, it’s about violent crime in the African American community. By extension, the more likely a group is to be arrested for violent crime, the more likely the members of that group are likely to be shot by jittery cops.
Four years ago I would have been a lot more upset about these two shootings. Since then, I must have read about dozens of shootings, many of them videotaped, of both whites and blacks (and frequently unarmed) being shot by police officers. So being aggrieved, hashtagging, venting my spleen, etc. just doesn’t cut it anymore. We have to work on that two way street so the public is educated how to react to officers on the one hand, and to inspire some confidence in police officers so they are less likely to unholster and shoot under the slightest pretext.
* Tom Winter NBC News: Philando Castile was pulled over 31 times by law enforcement and all of the charges were misdemeanors and none for violent crimes.
* Makes me think of Eric Garner, the guy who died in a police chokehold. There was a useful fact withheld by Rachel Maddow et al namely that he had been arrested 35 times.
The point being that these guys knew how to act when confronted by the police and should have known how to avoid problems.
* I’m disturbed at how the federal “Justice” Department starts “investigating” these events before the bodies are even cold. The same “Justice” Department that just let Too Big to Jail Killary skate. What convenient timing.

Its just that I’ve been reading some of the other articles and commenters around here and I’m still a little hazy on this.
But I’m working on it.
* (Reuters) – Already beset by a public outcry over the high-profile death of a black man in police custody and a rising murder rate, Baltimore’s police department is facing another headache: it’s shrinking fast.
The number of uniformed officers in the mid-Atlantic city fell 6.1 percent last year and has shrunk by even more in the first half of this year, according to police data seen by Reuters and not previously reported.
Shrinking budgets have pressured police recruitment in many U.S. cities, including Baltimore, where police officials say they also face steep competition from neighboring Washington to recruit and retain cops. Baltimore’s most recent budget slashed municipal government, reflecting a declining tax base, the city’s tepid economy and high unemployment.
* Trigger-happy cops will shoot white people in a heartbeat, too. It’s just that whites getting murdered by cops doesn’t provide useful propaganda to advance the left-wing racial/communist agenda.
* Yeah, Cops make mistakes. I’m more worried about the other 15,000 homicides -including those caused by illegal aliens who shouldn’t be in the country.
But evidently, I’m almost alone on this. People seem fascinated by white cops killing black crooks, even though it only occurs about 200 times a year, in a nation with 40,000,000 blacks.
* I saw the video. The woman victim — and she is a victim — quite clearly described the cop as Chinese. I suspect that if she had not been in shock she might well have used the more inclusive term Asian, or perhaps Oriental. One aspect of these instances of police violence that needs to be addressed is how often they involve various types of sub-par police recruits, e.g., politically motivated or affirmative action hires.
* The St. Anthony Police patrolman who shot and killed Philando Castile during a traffic stop has been identified as Jeronimo Yanez.
* If you consider losing your job, and having your name and face plastered all over the media as a target for retribution a mere “slap on the wrist”, I congratulate you for your ironclad level of financial and physical security. Darren Wilson, who shot the Ferguson Gentle Giant in a textbook example of self-defense, is now stocking shelves in a WalMart and will never work in law enforcement again, despite acting in perfect accordance with any police use-of-force continuum I have ever heard of.
What these “slaps on the wrist” DO accomplish is de-policing. Any cop with any time on the job at all is extremely reluctant to engage ANY black suspect, because the cop knows that he is automatically in a lose-lose situation. Proactive patrolling goes by the wayside, as most white cops know that a long career is inversely proportional to the number of contacts they endure with African-Americans. If Darren Wilson had been sitting in the substation watching SportsCenter, he wouldn’t have seen the Gentle Giant lumbering down the middle of the road after the strongarm robbery, and he wouldn’t have found it necessary to make contact. Several years ago, the President of the Seattle Police Guild told the rank-and-file (in writing) to “sit under a shady tree and do crosswords”, and limit their actual policing to answering 911 calls (which cannot be ignored).
Far from being an occupying army of avenging angels, police officers (at least on the Left Coast) want to avoid contact with POCs and NAMs at all costs — not out of physical fear, but out of concern for the legal and administrative consequences of doing their job.
* Eric Garner did not die in a police choke hold. So found the coroner. People in choke holds to not exclaim they cannot breathe, because they cannot breathe. He died of obesity, high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease, and bad judgement.
* I wonder how long the Minnesota man had been driving his car with a broken taillight. If you don’t want to be pulled over by police ( with all the hassle and risk that can involve) keeping your car in proper running condition is important. I’ve been stopped by police twice this century. Once for making a U turn where I had often done it before only to discover a freshly planted no U turn sign in the median strip. The cop was snotty about it but let me off when I pointed out the sign still had fresh dirt around its base. The second time was when I moved to Florida and made a left turn in front of a stopped highway patrol car who ( I thought) was yielding to me to make my left. I even said I thought he was being a nice guy not attempting to entrap me with a violation of right of way. He too let me off when he noticed my Florida driver’s license was all of one hour old. That’s it as far as my interaction with police. I don’t drive aggressively, my vehicles are kept in running order and my paperwork is up to date. Easy Peasy and you meet no policey.
