Alt-Right Jew: Charlottesville Was A Wake-Up Call

Alt Right Jew Joshua Seidel writes:

Even after Charlottesville, I still don’t know what to think of Richard Spencer. It’s Saturday night and I’m watching him compare his movement to Zionism on Israeli TV. He’s wearing a nice shirt and I’m not surprised; the man has fine taste in clothing, especially in vests. I’d challenge anyone to name a public figure who pulls off vests better than Richard Spencer.

As Jewish people, we can make psychic space for the rough anti-Semite, the uneducated man who hates us because he knows no better, the man in ripped jeans and rebel flag shirts. The “nerdy Nazis” with their polos, marching in Charlottesville can also be explained away, categorized, rendered less frightening. But a man who knows his vests? A man with a winning smile? This is an intrusion, a sign that the containment of the anti-Semitic virus has failed, that the good, the educated, the nuanced people of this world can no longer be assumed to be safe. No matter, though. I still tell people Richard is no Jew-hater. It’s impossible for a real anti-Semite to be so objective about Zionism, to go on Israeli TV… and to wear those nice vests.

After Charlottesville, all nuance is lost. I can’t blame my fellow Jews. The video, pictures and stories are awful. Hundreds chanting “Jews will not replace us,” Nazi flags, the synagogue threatened. However Spencer feels about Jews, he will now attract genuine anti-Semites, moreso than before, and more of his events will devolve into this. Is this what he wanted?

We must be honest about Charlottesville. No one was there to help us. The police in Charlottesville refused to watch the synagogue, despite specific threats (they later denied this). Antifa, claiming that they mobilized to “protect the community,” did nothing to protect the Jewish community. Jews in Charlottesville had to rely on hired guns. Where were the “anti-fascists” we hear so much about? Where were the police? It seems we can only rely on ourselves.

Jews still thinking the left has any interest in defending us against Nazis are fools. I’ve warned for quite awhile that the left will start seeing Jews as White, and the hatred and derision they pour upon white people is headed our way. There are countless vigils, teach-ins, Facebook posts from the left about Charlottesville and Nazis; few mention Jews. We feel this in our online spaces. Jews are an afterthought on social justice Twitter, an annoyance on leftist Facebook. Our concerns “get in the way” of the far more important issues for “people of color” — which of course we are not. I try to explain all of this to the Jewish race-warriors: turn our public discourse into race shaming, my peeps, and Jews will pay the price. We will always be the wrong race, under any formulation.

Orthodox Jews Still Back Trump

A left-wing Orthodox Jew writes in the Forward:

The Orthodox Union took two days to put out a statement in response to the weekend’s events. And when they finally got around to it, the statement danced around any mention of the Trump administration itself, calling instead on “ local, state and federal officials” to ensure justice is served. The Rabbinical Council of America mourned “violence and bigotry”, but not our leader’s failure to condemn it. Agudath Israel, the organization that represents America’s ultra-Orthodox community, has been totally silent on Charlottesville. Asked for comment, spokesperson Rabbi Avi Shafran wrote that the fact that the Agudah doesn’t issue official statements about hate crimes should itself be seen as “a function of the tragic frequency of hate crimes in our country.”

Then there are the smaller, politically conservative Orthodox rabbinic coalitions. Both TORA, which found time to welcome the appointment of Ambassador David Friedman, and Coalition for Jewish Values, which “advocates for classical Jewish ideas and standards in matters of American public policy,” ignored the weekend’s events entirely.

All of these groups have weighed in on controversies over the last year – just not this one.

You may not be as shocked as I was. After all, many Orthodox Jews voted for Trump. Still, you’d think the whole point of voting for someone is because you think they will represent you. So when the president you helped elect fails to condemn American Nazis, you would think it would be an obvious time for the Orthodox and right wing leadership to step up and make their voices heard.

Not so, it seems. The very organizations that have previously rushed with heady smiles to applaud administration policies and to pose for photo-ops with the White House’s court Jews are now speechless.

A left-wing Haredi Jew writes:

According to a poll conducted in August 2016 by the AJC Survey of American Jewish Opinion, Orthodox Jews favored Trump at 50% and Clinton at 21%.

Perhaps most tellingly, Borough Park, a largely Hasidic neighborhood, voted for Trump with an overwhelming 69%. In the ultra-Orthodox burgeoning metropolis of Lakewood, New Jersey, Trump won by a margin of 50.1%, one of the ‘reddest’ townships in all of blue state New Jersey.

Novelist Michael Chabon: All Jews Must Ostracize the President

Chabon’s a good writer but why would anyone look to him for guidance on politics?

If you read the Torah, you’ll see that bitter humor containing massive over-statement and kvetching goes back a long way in Jewish history.

In reaction to the rise of the Nazis, Jews boycotted Germany in the 1930s. Jews declared war on Germany in the 1930s. How did that work out? By contrast, Jews in Palestine worked with the Nazis to get Jews out of Europe and into the future country of Israel.

Supposedly Steve Bannon’s “far-right views” clashed with Ivanka and Jared’s “Jewish faith.” This is nonsense. The sacred texts of Judaism were composed many centuries before there was any left-right political division. Judaism doesn’t have much to say about left-right politics or about how gentiles should organize their countries.

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* As an op-edster he’s kind of embarrassingly on the nose. He’s not a particularly sophisticated intellectual. But his punditry is pretty revealing of how an awful lot of important people feel because, as a gifted novelist, he’s in touch with feelings.

* So, basically, Mr Chabon thinks Donald Trump is going to “get” Jews, which I can only assume means some kind of genocide, and what he himself decides to do is to, basically, kvetch at people and try to guilt-trip people into quitting their jobs.

Not flee the country. Not go into hiding. Not even attempt to just keep a low profile instead of making a huge, public spectacle of himself. Just to kvetch.

I don’t understand these people. Is it one of those things where Jewish people all kind of realize that these statements are full of shit, but it’s just part of their culture to talk that way? If so, how does it work? Don’t they annoy each other when they do that?

* Search and replace “Jew” for “White,” “anti-Semite” for “anti-White,” etc. mutatis mutandis and this ‘open letter’ would be banned on every major social media platform in the country and held up in every organ of the MSM oligarchy as an example of the most vile racism imaginable.

* Virtually all ‘open letters’ are silly things-just stunts by their writers.

In this case the majority of Jews won’t read it and the majority of those who read it aren’t Jews.

* When Chabon first emerged as a writer, he was treated like the greatest thing since sliced bread, and he’s been given ridiculous levels of praise ever since. This annoyed me, but only mildly, because every time I start to get up a head of steam about him, I remember he married Ayelet Waldman. Holy Moses, was that ever a masochistic thing to do.

Waldman has the personality of Courtney Love and the appearence of the Wicked Witch of the West. She’s turning into a sharp-nosed crone these days. She’s written books about how she can’t stand children or raising them (she has 4), written a book about how she’s been treating her menopause with daily LSD, and made remarks about how her darling hubbie gave her venereal disease and cancerous lesions, etc., etc. I have no idea how he can keep from being driven crazy by her.

There have been remarks that Chabon married her as a beard, because back in the 1980s when he first emerged, if you were a gay writer or wrote gay characters, you ended up in the gay lit ghetto, and you wouldn’t sell well enough to support an opulant lifestyle, and Chabon wanted that lifestyle. As a ‘straight’ writer with an occasional gay character, he was safely mainstream and could be bought by the masses. Hence, he needed a beard.

Deep down, I suspect the female Jewish side of Chabon really wanted to be married to a neurotic, cranky, fussy, whiny, dictatorial, hovering, always-obsessed-with-his-spouse Jewish old man, and the closest thing he could find was Ayelet Waldman.

* Is this supposed to be like the Jewish boycott of Germany, pre WWII?

How many people will listen to this guy, and what will the effect be? This is a serious question.

* Well isn’t this ironic. Congress is about to make it illegal to boycott Israel, but Jews make it mandatory to boycott Trump. Hopefully this will prompt a few JQ-averse normies to take a second look at things. The cycle of Jewish overreach is again playing out before our very eyes.

* I will give Benjamin Netanyahu and his son credit for not totally jumping on the Charlottesville outrage bandwagon. Hawkish Zionists with any brains realize that ostentatiously slamming White Nationalism means that Jewish Nationalism—the raison d’être of Israel itself—has no defense.

P.S., Ayelet Waldman guest posting on Ta-Nehisi Coates’s erstwhile blog in 2010: “Last spring the US Census Bureau released figures estimating that the state of Maine is 95.3 percent white. It is, in fact, the whitest state in the country, just edging out Vermont and West Virginia for that dubious distinction.”

* What if Jews were to resign en masse from policy-making positions in the government?! What a tragedy.

* Do you ever wonder if a lot of Jews have some weird case of group PTSD that they can’t deal with and it makes them act, as a group, way off the deep end?

* There seems to be real willful ignorance around this “Jews will not replace us” meme. It’s clear that no one thinks Jewish numbers are large enough to replace anyone. Rather, the argument goes, that Jews are the instigators of policies–unfettered immigration among others–that tend to displace the native-born population.

I assume that this meme is not accurately reported on because to do so would be to raise uncomfortable questions.

* I would pay $99.95 to watch a live hour-long pay-per-view intimate ‘dinner date’ between Silverman and Richard Spencer. No gimmicks, no costumes, just “real talk” and possibly some mirth and humor.

* LSD micro-dosing is a big thing among a lot of people these days. It’s chief attraction is that it lets you brag about being high status enough that you can talk openly about doing drugs every day without fear of being arrested or losing your job.

* @Steve, why don’t you point out that 95% of the comments on Chabon’s article (including mine) are from Jews telling him to pound sand, that he does not represent us, Jews in general, or anybody but NPR?

This is my problem with you on Jews-you notice Jews doing/saying bad things, and not all those Jews (the majority) who disagree with them, privately or publicly. When the Left applies the same treatment to whites, you are justifiably outraged-it’s dishonest.

* Jews have peaked in terms of power and influence and what we are seeing now is the beginning of a process similar to what the WASPs went through two generations ago and there is nothing they will be able to do to stop it. They should be a little more charitable now because as the old proverb says, “be careful who you step on on your way up the ladder of success. You might see them on the way back down.”

Much of the freak out over Bannon is a realization that whites are beginning to in-group and that Jews and other identity groups will have to figure which side they are on in the political realignment that is taking place. Not only is everyone forced to take sides but they now have to do it openly. Bannon has been a stalking horse, particularly for Jews, because he is the face of the new media which threatened the television monopoly. The internet is amorphous and he is the closest person or thing to lash out at so all they can do is try and destroy him. That is one thing television is still good for.

Jews might have a disproportionate amount of money but as we see with political campaigns, all it can do ultimately is buy television commercials. And if those don’t work like with the attacks on Donald Trump, you are up a creek.

Eugene Robinson: ‘It’s time to talk about Trump’s mental health’

Is Eugene Robinson a mental health professional? No, he’s an affirmative action columnist for the Washington Post. He has no expertise for commenting on mental health.

I’m all for commentary on the president’s mental health but only from people trained to deliver such analyses.

I don’t like it when people use psychology as a weapon. I particularly don’t like it when people untrained in mental health use psychology as a weapon. I had a girlfriend who did that. I didn’t appreciate it. It’s too easy.

There are only two forms of honorable argument – to contest facts and logic.

Werner Von Braun & The Jews

According to the best biography of the rocket scientist, the Jewish Mafia apparently made Werner Von Braun’s Washington years a misery even though the space philosopher never showed any anti-Jewish bigotry and was a major proponent of desegregation (particularly in his long-time home state of Alabama).

From the book Dr Space: The Life of Wernher Von Braun:

The inscription on the downtown monument dedicated that day closes with the words: “Dr. von Braun, whose vision and knowledge made possible the landing of the first man on the Moon by the United States, contributed significantly to the life of this community. He will forever be respected and admired by his local fellow citizens.” In truth, not all his fellow townspeople agreed with those sentiments or with the naming of the civic center for him. More than a few members of the city’s prominent Jewish community, for example, had not forgotten, nor quite forgiven, his past in Nazi Germany. Three decades later, that remained the case…

The story of Wernher von Braun “reminds me of a Greek drama that deals with the fights between the gods,” mused Peter Petroff in June 1999. The Bulgarian-born master engineer and multimillionaire entrepreneur, then in his eighties, added: “Zeus, the big-shot god, gives selected people just enormous capabilities. Then the lesser gods are jealous and throw up all these hindrances.” Petroff, whom von Braun recruited to work at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in the mid-1960s, continued with his analogy: “Zeus created a guy, von Braun, who was way, way above everybody else. The gods gave him too much talent. He was not only a top-notch engineer and physicist, but he was a visionary. On top of that, he could convince anybody of anything.”1 Then, on March 1, 1970, von Braun, at the apogee of the Apollo 11 and 12 Moon-landing triumphs, left his impregnable home base of twenty years and moved north to take on a challenging position at NASA headquarters in Washington. “This was a tragedy,” Petroff observed years afterward. “Little guys, from jealousies or for fun, messed up what [von Braun] was doing, a typical Greek drama. This was tragic.”

…[George] Low, a superb engineer, experienced technocrat, and Austrian-born Jew, soon was appointed acting administrator by Nixon until a permanent choice could be made. That would take more than six months. With Paine gone, von Braun was now on his own at NASA headquarters, caught in the Washington morass. The climate there soon turned arctic….

Whatever friendly feelings and healthy working relationship had existed between the two, a drastic change occurred nevertheless in the treatment accorded von Braun at headquarters—for whatever reasons—after Paine left and Low took over. When the agency’s top officials testified on Capitol Hill, NASA’s erstwhile perennial star witness was not among them. He was required to submit all his other speeches for review and approval, and advised to stick to the script and forgo his trademark ad-libs. Few headquarters officials ever asked his advice or input on decisions. There were no more chatty sessions in the administrator’s office, von Braun’s secretary recalled; he had difficulty even getting an appointment to see Low, whose office was two doors away.4 Clearly, he had become persona non grata. “Wernher and Low had problems,” recalled Jay Foster of von Braun’s planning team. “I don’t know that it was necessarily personal, but I don’t think Low ever forgave Wernher for the Nazi connection.”

…Some von Braun staffers believed that the so-called Jewish Mafia within NASA and the larger space community had applied pressure on Low to drive von Braun out while he had the opportunity.

…One senior German-born member of the old rocket team, who kept a close eye on the Washington machinations from Huntsville, said he believed Low’s ill will toward von Braun sprang much more from “outright jealousy” than from any “ethnic factors.” “For instance, von Braun in the past would always testify at a congressional committee hearing in a full chamber, with only standing room,” the retired rocket expert continued, on condition of anonymity. “When George Low testified, there would be only a few people in the audience, and some of them would fall asleep. It was just jealousy.”

…Paine claimed that Webb wanted to keep von Braun out of Washington: ‘I think Jim had the feeling that, well, the Jewish lobby would shoot him down or something.’”

…board. Fletcher said he realized he was blamed, but that he had not insisted that the rocket pioneer should go. The administrator named the official responsible, although granting he could have “overruled” that individual, as Fletcher put it.

“It was George Low” whom Fletcher identified, the retired Washington staff member revealed a quarter century later, on condition of anonymity. “He was very jealous of Dr. von Braun.” It was also Low whom von Braun had privately identified to his former staffer.

…One day, he looked very weak but his spirit was good. He had his usual twinkle in his eye. I said, ‘Wernher, how’re you doing?’ He said, ‘Well, Ed, I’ve had so many blood transfusions I can say truly that I’m a full-blooded American.’”

…Tom Wolfe, author of The Right Stuff, to declare repeatedly in later years, “Wernher von Braun was the only philosopher NASA ever really had.” When Wolfe appeared on NBC News’ top-rated Today show in the fall of 1998 to discuss his new novel, A Man in Full, and John Glenn’s recent return to space, he did so but then hastened to bring up von Braun: “He was a member of the German Wehrmacht, and he had a Teutonic accent—had everything but a dueling scar on his cheek—and so they couldn’t bring him forward as “NASA’s philosopher.” But he was the philosopher, and he said, “The importance of the space program is not surpassing the Soviets in space. The importance is to build a bridge to the stars, so that when the Sun dies, humanity will not die. The Sun is a star that’s burning up, and when it finally burns up, there will be no Earth … no Mars … no Jupiter.” And he said, “You have to find a way, because humans are the only thinking creatures that we know of in the entire universe, and we have to build a bridge to save this particular species.” I think that’s a grand thought, and it should be the thought that everybody has in supporting the space program.”

…His simple headstone was engraved: WERNHER VON BRAUN, 1912-1977 Psalms: 19:1 The Old Testament citation in stone was of his longtime favorite scriptural passage, a soaring Psalm of David: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork.”

In 1971, Von Braun wrote:

In the early years of Hitler’s regime in Germany this persecution took many forms but the most obvious was the vilification of the Jewish people in the Nazi press. Most thinking Germans saw this for what it was, creating a necessary scapegoat for the desperate unemployment rate to rally the masses behind the Hitler government. However, most including myself did not believe even in our most violent nightmares that this overt antagonism would ultimately lead to anything like Auschwitz (of which I heard for the first time after the war). Until the outbreak of the war, Jews were welcomed as officers and enlisted men in the German Army, and social contacts were widely maintained with Jewish friends. I confess to no deep psychological thinking on this matter during these times. I thought that when the political objective of the anti-Jewish campaign had been reached a new scapegoat would be found. Stalin’s series of persecutions of the Kulaks, the Army officers (Tuchachevski, et al.), the Trotskiists, the Intelligentsia and the Russian Jews seemed to set a most likely pattern. During these years I was, of course, a young engineer with very little interest in politics, and rather engrossed in my studies on the potential of space flight and my rocket experiments. I felt very fortunate when I gained support for my work in the form of some money and facilities from the German Army. I did not have any more scruples in accepting this support than, say, the Wright Brothers may have had when they signed their first contract with the U.S. War Department. In 1939, when war was declared, our rocket work was directed to producing weapons. Most of my time before and during the war was spent at an experimental rocket station at Peenemuende, a remote spot on the Baltic Coast. Our days were spent in designing, building, and testing. I have often been asked how could I produce weapons of war, and I have read many essays on the moral aspects of this general question, which I guess is as old as war itself and thus as old as mankind. From my own experience, I can only say this: when your country is at war, when friends are dying, when your family is in constant danger, when the bombs are bursting around you and you lose your own home, the concept of a just war becomes very vague and remote and you strive to inflict on the enemy as much or more than you and your relatives and friends have suffered. There was another aspect, too: our knowledge of what was happening in Germany and the world was rather limited by the Nazi propaganda machine. In private discussions with friends, one would occasionally discuss things like the existence of concentration camps, in which all kinds of opponents of the Hitler regime, including Jews, were held. But I do not remember ever having heard of a single incident of an atrocity, let alone of deliberate mass killings of civilians. If you find this hard to believe, you have merely to ask yourself how long after the event it was that you first heard about the massacre at Mylai in Vietnam, and this in a country with a free press eager to unearth unpleasant facts, rather than in one with a rigidly controlled press determined to protect tightly held state secrets and to withhold anything from public purview that Hitler wanted the population not to know about. You ask me why I did not lend my influence to save the Jewish people. First, as I just said, I truly was not aware that atrocities were being committed in Germany against anyone. I knew that many prominent Jewish, Catholic and Protestant leaders had been jailed for their opposition to the government. I also suspected from the fact that I had lost sight of my own Jewish friends, that many Jews had either fled the country or were held in concentration camps. But being jailed and being butchered are two different things. Secondly, while I may have been of some importance to the German Army’s rocket programs, I certainly did not wield any political influence over anyone outside of Peenemuende. I, myself, was arrested by Himmler and needed the influence of my commanding general to save myself. As you know, the extent of the actual suffering and the criminal mass slaughter of the Jewish people became known to the world only many months after the hostilities ended, and it was only then that I learned of these things myself. I was deeply shocked and have ever since been ashamed of having been associated with a regime that was capable of such brutality. And, along with many millions of my former fellow countrymen who learned about these atrocities only after the war was over, I know that our generation must accept our share of the guilt for what happened.
