In 2013, a criminal court jury acquitted Lance Everett Wyatt of six misdemeanor counts, including unlawful videotaping two patients who were partly undressed and sexual battery on a patient.

Despite those acquittals, the Medical Board of California on June 2 moved to revoke Wyatt’s license, citing “intentional and inexcusable breach of [two of] his female patients’ trust by surreptitiously video recording them partially nude without their consent.”

The board accused Wyatt of “gross negligence, repeated negligent acts, unprofessional conduct, and sexual misconduct” saying in its decision that Wyatt chose to “deny all wrongdoing and characterize himself as the victim, with no real concern for the actual victims.”

Wyatt’s request that the board reconsider its decision was denied Friday. Wyatt was arrested in August 2012 after a joint investigation by Los Angeles police and the medical board.

LA WEEKLY in 2012: A Beverly Center-area plastic surgeon was charged today in a case that accuses him of secretly videotaping nude patients during exams.

Forty-two-year-old Lance Everett Wyatt of Sherman Oaks was also arrested today based on a warrant, according to the L.A. City Attorney’s office and the Medical Board of California. On his website the suspect seems fancies himself as a medical “guru” and plastic surgeon to the stars.

One of two women he allegedly taped says she spotted a camera, grabbed it, and turned it over to cops, according to prosecutors. This happened …

… nearly a year ago at his private, independent office (8631 W. Third Street), which appears to be on or next to the campus of Cedars Sinai Medical Center. The City Attorney’s office says the alleged taping happened Aug. 4, 2011, to be exact.

The LAPD and the Medical Board have apparently been investigating since then. Wyatt was hit with these charges today, according to the board:

… Two counts of Penal Code (PC) 647(j)(3)(1), the unlawful filming of another, on two patients; two counts of PC 647 (j) (1), unlawful viewing of another, on two patients; one count of PC section 243.4(c), sexual battery on a patient; and one count of PC 242, unlawful use of force and violence (battery) on another.

The City Attorney’s office says he faces two years in jail and a lifetime of registration as a sex offender if he’s convicted. The office alleges that …

… he secretly video-recorded patients while they were undressed, and that he committed acts of sexual battery and battery.

And that:

… On August 4, 2011, the defendant allegedly secretly made video-recordings of two patients who were undressed. The two alleged victims, unaware that they were being filmed, were patients and were seeing the defendant as part of their post-surgical care. The camera used by defendant to commit these offenses was discovered by one of the victims who fled the office and turned the camera over to police.

We talked to Richard Kraft, supervising attorney in the City Attorney’s Special Victims Section, to figure out how charges of battery came about.

He alleged that Wyatt touched at least one of the victims inappropriately while surreptitiously taping her and while leading the woman to believe the touching was medically necessary:

Based on one of the videos we identified conduct that we felt violated sexual battery and battery provisions of the penal code. In this case it was conduct permitted by the pateint because she believed the touching was for legitimate medical purposes.

When Will Trump Act Presidential?

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* Bottom line is Trump said he’d act more presidential in the general and he said he cut way back on tweeting and blah, blah, blah …

Trump is just a hardcore REAL ESTATE ANIMAL to the bone and everything he says is plastic, claymation.

If you’ve ever met a hardcore real estate professional then none of what Trump says is surprising. They can’t tell the straight truth about anything. Ever.

* Yes Trump is a super-genius planning triple bank shots and not someone who just got rolled by an alt.righter who slipped in an antisemitic meme.

So this was an own goal. Maybe it was caused by not having enough Jews around campaign HQ. Should have showed this to his son-in-law before retweeting – he would have seen the not-so-hidden message right way.

Maybe he can use a noose next to appeal to the black vote. I’m going to “hang” Hillary out to dry! Nooses are associated with the hangman game, with the legal execution of war criminals, etc. and not just lynching, so no problem.

* Mr. Sailer is quite correct that DJT is only espousing common sense not-that- radical notions. It makes the reaction of the Kristols, Wills, Republicans, etc so absurd. Also the Left. It speaks to how bad off we are as a society. He has really struck a nerve.
There have been many attempts at explanation, here and elsewhere, none entirely correct, all having elements of the truth. It is multifactorial, for sure. It is puzzling and fascinating. For instance, the Kochs hate him, but his talk of re-examining our commitments abroad should be right up their Cato alley. Some of it hysteria. He is unPC (but this is not uncommon in much of America). I don’t understand it completely. But I am sure it is a good thing for America and would be fantastic if he could win. The bigger question is whether he would be the beginning of a long term change or just a temporary lull in the decimation of the West.
Steve also makes another great point about DJT. How aware is he of what he is doing? He is obviously a very smart man.
Is he the Prince, though? I mostly think no, but sometimes I wonder.

* Most of the Jews in the US originated in the 1880s-1914 immigration from the Russian Empire. Any Russian expression of nationalism to them meant a Cossack raid. More glaringly, it meant a government that induced pressure to convert to Orthodoxy. Much of what we call the “war on Christmas” is mostly Jewish angst that public display of Christian symbols will induce their children into converting.

* That Sailer is not himself an extravagant haircut doesn’t mean he thinks they’re all wrong. He seems to have a mellow lack of bloodthirstiness that probably comes with his long tenure as a crime thinker. The zeal of the convert, the driving force of many of the extravagant haircuts, attenuates with time.

Another reason to relax (very slightly) is that human peoples of moderate or higher IQ, such as global Europa, eventually wake up. This is particularly true with the Internet, which has broken elite control over public discourse. (Happened with the printing press to a lesser degree half a millennium ago.) Europa in the United States and Europe simultaneously awakens right now. Sure, some of us saw the writing on the wall 10 years ago, indeed some probably saw it during the Bell Curve wars (Murray obviously did), but it’s catching on with the broader populace as time passes.

* Last night I saw a clear example of Obama’s flapdoodle about black Americans. I was watching Fox News when they broke away to show Obama delivering his Fourth of July speech from the White House. He took the occasion to speak about our “heroes” in the armed forces, but standing behind him on the stage were five or six black men and women. Not one white person in sight. I guess the idea was to give the impression to America that the brave men and women in our armed forces supposedly protecting America are all black. I wonder what percentage of the military is black, especially the forces that do the actual fighting. I wonder what percentage of those who return in body bags are black. Probably a lot less than 100%. Even the blonde commentator on Fox who introduced the little segment gave a smile of support to our men and women in uniform. I thought the whole episode was rather strange. I take this as a sign that Obama is starting to do all he can to rally black Americans to vote for Hillary Clinton.

* It is common knowledge that blacks serve in the supply lines not in the front lines. It is whites and Hispanics who engage the enemies and get injured or die. Lets give credit to these Hispanics for having a warrior instinct and patriotism. With blacks it is “I ain’t got no quarrel with no Vietcong” plus the US military is into affirmative action promotions.

* In Jeff Connaughton’s excellent “Why Wall Street Always Wins,” the author, who was a senior aide to Joe Biden for several decades, blithely explains that whenever Biden needed money, he would contact his network of Jewish lawyers for contributions. He explains this matter of factly because he is out of the game. I thought it was hilarious.

The book overall is a great read to contrast what happens when a senator is allowed to vote freely. Biden’s last two years were served by Ted Kaufman, who went hard after Wall Street after the housing debacle since he had no intention of running again in 2010. It stood in stark contrast to the wishy-washy Biden, who was always failed to balance the needs of the country with his own aims for higher office.

Assimilation Is An Illusion

Does Nationalism Cause War?

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* Nationalism makes a people attractive, just as self-confidence makes people attractive.

* So nationalism causes war?

That’s funny. Ever since the Arab nationalism movement was crushed in the 60s, the Middle East seems to have been thrown into a perpetual state of war and backwards radicalism.

In fact every time a nation is destroyed or destabilized in the middle east things seem to get far worse and far more violent instead of improving. Perhaps acting in the interests of your region ethnicity, nation, etc in some official regard that is seen as legitimate by the local populace is a better idea than just letting whoever has the most guns or money take over your country.

* It’s weird to think that somewhere within the Icelandic govt or some NGO some bright spark is in a meeting and jumping up and shouting “You know what we need round here – a ton of Africans and Muslims!”

* I like how all the players are actually Icelandic in comparison with the French , German or English teams, although I am sure they have some immigrants even there. White countries are too good to pass up when there are goodies to be had.

Even Iceland will be inundated with the 3rd world masses.

There isn’t a white country around that the diversity freaks don’t want to get their claws into.

* “In 2014, the global winds are blowing in favor of conservative nationalism”

Eventually, the World WILL integrate and become one. Globalization is not a political or even economic process: it is a technological one, fostered by the massive developments in communication and transport technology, which has shrunk the World. This allows trade of goods, ideas and people on an unprecedented scale.

Like I said before, what is happening is that we are proceding to becoming a Type I civilization on the Kardashev Scale. The internet, for instance, is the beggining of a Type I telephone system.

Nationalism is rooted in tribalism, which is an atavistic instinct that many humans have. Such an instinct comes from the Paleolithic Era, when tribes of humans competed over small patches of land, which meant hunting grounds. Because humans back then couldn’t manufacture anything, which means that there wasn’t anything to trade with other tribes, and the struggle for survival was intense, tribes saw each other simply as rivals. Warfare was the natural state of Humanity back then.

But if you look at the history of the World since 10,000 B.C, it has been one of political structures getting progressively larger and more complex. The small bands of the Paleolithic Era , with no more than a few dozen people, grew into cities with thousands, these city-states joined with others and became nation-states. Now, nations are integrating and becoming a global community. The process is still in it’s infancy, and there will be many set backs, but the end result will be the end of all national borders. It might take another 100+ years, but the end result will be the same.

The reason why Globalization is inevitable is because of the enormous benefits in terms of increased prosperity , and the demands that the new technologies will put on industry, which is too great for any single ation-state to provide. Developments in industry and science will inevitably require cooperation internationally. Even the Manhattan Project, over 70 years ago, was a joint venture. It was mostly bank rolled by the U.S, but the majority of the scientists were from other countries.

The demands from industry are such that it requires intenational cooperation, and the benefits of a global market are obvious: the larger the market, the greater variability of skills and know-how on the part of producers, and the larger the scale of production and consumption, which act mutually to boost each other. American companies grew much larger than most European companies due to the larger U.S market, which allows them to produce and sell on a much larger scale than in the ones available in the tiny ountries of Europe. Globalization takes this to a much higher level by creating a global market. A larger market offers advantages not only due to the power of increased consumption power boosting producton by increasing demands, but also due to the greater options in terms of variety in labor skills and cost. For instance, many American conservatives want closed borders for trade because many American workers have lost their jobs to China. However, they don’t realize that there is a beneficial effect: by producing cheaper abroad due to cheaper labor, companies can sell their products to American consumers cheaper. This directly increases the living standards of Americans AND leaves Americans with more free cash, which they can invest to grow the economy, which creates new jobs with even higher wages for those Americans who previously lost their jobs to China. Everyone benefits when the market is larger and offers more options in terms of labor skills and cost, consumption and production. This goes back go Adam Smith and David Ricardo. But dumb conservatives don’t understand this.

The dumb conservatives that read Steve Sailer don’t understand this. They don’t understand the true nature of globalization, they don’t realize the progressive compression of the World, and they don’t understand the increased prosperity that comes from Globalization due to maximization of utility.

Sailer is right about one thing, though: tribalism, and therefore nationalist, is a very powerful instinct for many people and it will set back Globalization a lot. As Einstein once said:

“Nationalism is the cancer of Mankind.”

There will be many anti-Globalist movements. But I believe that the World becoming one “tribe” is inevitable. Such is the nature of the natural progression of technology, and the benefits of increased markets.

* Well, I can remember when foreigners coming to America were limited in number, the stress was on assimilation, and the people coming here wanted to be assimilated. Now it seems that the “fierce nationalism” inspired in people who weren’t born here is for their home countries and too many of them want to change America to be more like their home countries they are only too happy to flee.

FBI Recommends No Charges Should Be Filed Against Hillary Clinton

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* FBI Director Coomey delivered a measured indictment of Hillary’s incompetence, without recommending an indictment. He actually said that in many cases this type of activity would result in sanctions or have other consequences. But that’s the real world and this is Obama World. But, on a positive note it gives her opposition plenty of ammo.
