<\/a><\/p>\nNew York Post<\/a>: On a busy night last week at the Target on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, Ari Nagel, 40, emerged from the men\u2019s bathroom looking a little flushed and quite pleased with himself.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s better when it\u2019s fresh,\u201d he told them.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u201d is Nagel\u2019s semen, and it\u2019s in demand. The 6-foot-2 CUNY Kingsborough math professor has served as a sperm donor for dozens of locals, siring 22 kids over the past 12 years with 18 women of various backgrounds.<\/p>\n For lesbian couples and single ladies looking to have a baby without the expense of going through a sperm bank (which can run in the thousands of dollars), he\u2019s the No.\u20091 dad.<\/p>\n \u201cThis isn\u2019t time-consuming, and I\u2019m doing it anyway,\u201d he says of his hands-on hobby. \u201cIt\u2019s very easy for me to do.\u201d<\/p>\n His oldest child, now 12, was conceived with a woman he was in a committed relationship with, but all of his offspring since, he says, have resulted from his donations.<\/p>\n About half the time, he provides his seed the old-fashioned way. Sometimes, a lesbian looking to conceive will have her partner in the bed for moral support while she and Nagel engage in intercourse.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s never slept with a guy before, so the partner\u2019s in bed, holding her hand,\u201d Nagel explains. \u201cSometimes, it could be a little painful, then after a few times, they\u2019re comfortable to do it on their own.\u201d<\/p>\n Other times, he supplies his goods in a cup, which he prefers…<\/p>\n The prolific professor is often successful, which he attributes to a high sperm count: 85 million per milliliter.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s off the charts,\u201d he boasts. \u201cThe clinic said they\u2019ve never seen anything like it.\u201d<\/p>\n (The Mayo Clinic says normal sperm density ranges from 15 million to greater than 200 million sperm per milliliter.)…<\/p>\n And Nagel, who grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family with six siblings, says he gets the benefits of having a large brood without the hassle…<\/p>\n And Nagel\u2019s seed-sowing isn\u2019t a drain on his love life. He doesn\u2019t make a point of mentioning it on dates, but when it comes up, ladies typically don\u2019t mind.<\/p>\n Modal Trigger But it\u2019s not all sunshine and babies.<\/p>\n The first five women he worked with successfully sued him for child support, and nearly half of his paycheck is garnished for his offspring.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s more surprising: that five sued or that 17 didn\u2019t,\u201d Nagel says. \u201cThey were all well aware there was no financial obligation on my part.
