Curiel\u2019s persistent rulings against him in the Trump University case (brought by a law firm that has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches by Bill and Hillary), Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that maybe it\u2019s because the judge is a second-generation Mexican immigrant.<\/p>\n<p>The entire media\u2014and most of the GOP\u2014have spent 10 months telling us that Mexicans in the United States are going to HATE Trump for saying he\u2019ll build a wall. Now they\u2019re outraged that Trump thinks one Mexican hates him for saying he\u2019ll build a wall.<\/p>\n<p>Curiel has distributed scholarships to illegal aliens. He belongs to an organization that sends lawyers to the border to ensure that no illegal aliens\u2019 \u201chuman rights\u201d are violated. The name of the organization? The San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association\u2014\u201dLa Raza\u201d meaning THE RACE.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s pause to imagine the nomination hearings for a white male who belonged to any organization for white people\u2014much less one with the words \u201cTHE RACE\u201d in its title.<\/p>\n<p>The media were going to call Trump a racist whatever he did, and his attack on a Hispanic judge is way better than when they said it was racist for Republicans to talk about Obama\u2019s golfing.<\/p>\n<p>Has anyone ever complained about the ethnicity of white judges or white juries? I\u2019ve done some research and it turns out \u2026 THAT\u2019S ALL WE\u2019VE HEARD FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times alone has published hundreds of articles, editorials, op-eds, movie reviews, sports articles and crossword puzzles darkly invoking \u201cwhite judges\u201d and \u201call-white\u201d juries, as if that is ipso facto proof of racist justice.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago\u2014that\u2019s not an error; I didn\u2019t mean to type \u201cdecades\u201d and it came out \u201cweeks\u201d\u2014the Times published an op-ed by a federal appeals judge stating: \u201cAll-white juries risk undermining the perception of justice in minority communities, even if a mixed-race jury would have reached the same verdict or imposed the same sentence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In other words, even when provably not unfair, white jurors create the \u201cperception\u201d of unfairness solely by virtue of the color of their skin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ann Coulter writes: Annoyed at federal judge Gonzalo P.
