Ordaining women will be a disaster for the church. Just look at the results where it has been tried. Men will drop out of religion unless special roles are reserved for them. Women are temperamentally more suited towards compassion rather than standards. You need clergy to uphold standards over compassion or you become a religion of wimps. I grew up in Adventist schools. I went to Avondale College Primary School for grades two through five. Then I went to Pacific Union College Elementary School for grades six through eight. At both schools, feminist fads ran riot. So competition was outlawed to the greatest extent possible. As a result, I found school boring and I did poorly. I like to fight. Men like to fight. If you start ordaining women, men will seek for places where they can congregate with other men. About the only places legally left for this (aside from traditional patriarchal religion) are strip clubs.
