From Yahoo<\/a>: Pittsburgh news anchor Wendy Bell was fired Wednesday from ABC affiliate WTAE after outcry over a recent Facebook post in which she used racially stereotypical language in talking about \u201cyoung black men.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bell had been associated with WTAE for 18 years but could not withstand the outcry over her rant on the station\u2019s own social media account speculating on the perpetrators of a then-unsolved murder…<\/p>\n

The controversial comments were posted after a mass shooting in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, in which six people were killed \u2014 but before police had made any arrests. \u201cYou needn\u2019t be a criminal profiler to draw a mental sketch of the killers who broke so many hearts,\u201d Bell wrote. \u201cthey are young black men, likely in their teens or early 20s.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs. These boys have been in the system before. They\u2019ve grown up there. They know the police. They\u2019ve been arrested. They\u2019ve made the circuit and nothing has scared them enough. Now they are lost. Once you kill a neighbor\u2019s three children, two nieces and her unborn grandson, there\u2019s no coming back. There\u2019s nothing nice to say about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

NEWS<\/a>: Authorities questioned a man Friday morning in connection to a shooting in Wilkinsburg that resulted in the deaths of six people, including an unborn baby, and left three others wounded, sources told Channel 11 News.<\/p>\n

Lt. Kevin Kraus, of the Allegheny County Sheriff\u2019s Office, said Friday that a man was arrested on a bench warrant for a probation violation. He was on Allegheny County\u2019s Most Wanted list.<\/p>\n

The man, identified as Cheron Shelton, was walked out of Allegheny County police headquarters in handcuffs about 9 a.m…<\/p>\n

Earle discovered that Cheron Shelton has a lengthy criminal record that goes back a decade and includes mostly drug-related charges. <\/p>\n

He was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance in January and driving on a suspended license. He was given probation. <\/p>\n
