{"id":91104,"date":"2016-03-24T07:28:52","date_gmt":"2016-03-24T15:28:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=91104"},"modified":"2016-03-24T07:28:52","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T15:28:52","slug":"microsoft-creates-ai-bot-internet-immediately-turns-it-racist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=91104","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Creates AI Bot \u2013 Internet Immediately Turns it Racist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.socialhax.com\/2016\/03\/24\/microsoft-creates-ai-bot-internet-immediately-turns-racist\/\">REPORT<\/a>: <\/p>\n<p>Microsoft released an AI chat bot that is currently &#8220;verified&#8221; on Twitter called <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TayandYou\/\" target=\"_blank\">@TayandYou<\/a> that was meant to try to learn the way millennials speak and interact with them.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s meant to &#8220;test and improve Microsoft&#8217;s understanding of conversational language&#8221; according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2016\/3\/23\/11290200\/tay-ai-chatbot-released-microsoft\" target=\"_blank\">The Verge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Things did get pretty controversial.
