Joel Pollak writes<\/a>: Protesters raised a Mexican flag in celebration after Donald Trump\u2019s planned rally in Chicago on Friday night was canceled, according to news reports.<\/p>\n

The Wall Street Journal<\/em> reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Cheers went up among many protesters when the announcement came, but a chaotic scene soon emerged with protesters and Trump supporters scuffling on the arena floor.<\/p>\n

Police rushed into the fray to try to restore order.<\/p>\n

One person raised a Mexican flag amid chants of \u201cWe stopped Trump!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is exactly what I was hoping for,\u201d said Celso Ramos, a 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Illinois at Chicago. \u201cEveryone says our generation doesn\u2019t do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter also noted the flag at the time:<\/p>\n
