Just Google “Jewish free loan.” All big Jewish communities have free loan societies, but they’re not normally for big things like mortgages. It’s not unusual for a Jew to move into a new town and the Jews there will welcome him and say, “What do you need?” And they’ll hook him up. The intensity and depth of Jewish generosity is unlike any I’ve known and the Seventh-Day Adventists I grew up with were highly charitable. <\/p>\n
