{"id":84564,"date":"2016-01-05T18:13:11","date_gmt":"2016-01-06T02:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=84564"},"modified":"2016-01-05T18:13:11","modified_gmt":"2016-01-06T02:13:11","slug":"what-is-with-these-midwestern-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=84564","title":{"rendered":"What is with these midwestern women?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/middle-east\/2016\/01\/05\/watch-michigan-woman-stabbing-jews-is-permitted-theyre-animals\/\">From Breitbart<\/a>: TEL AVIV \u2013 A Michigan woman posted a video on YouTube defending Palestinian stabbing attacks against Jews and compared Jews to animals.<\/p>\n<p>In the Arabic-language video (watch it <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.memritv.org\/clip\/en\/5235.htm\">here<\/a>) translated by MEMRI and titled \u201cIs stabbing Jews haram [forbidden]?\u201d, pro-Palestinian activist Lina Allan blasts Muslims who say that stabbing is \u201charam,\u201d or forbidden under Islamic law, and tells such Muslims to \u201cgo back to watching Turkish soap operas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI support any decision made by the Palestinian people in order to regain its rights and its land,\u201d said Lina Allan in reference to the act of stabbing Jews.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the video, Allan does not use the word \u201cIsraelis\u201d in her description of the stabbing attacks, choosing instead to use the word \u201cJews.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome people have commented on the Palestinians\u2019 stabbing of Jews by saying that it is haram, that it is prohibited,\u201d Allan said in the video.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho are you to say what is halal [permissible] and what is haram,\u201d she asked critics of stabbing attacks. \u201cSadly, there are many people in the Arab world who think that just because their mother and father are Muslim, they themselves automatically became muftis, and are allowed to say what is halal and what is haram \u2014 according to their whims and personal desires, of course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they like smoking, they pronounce cigarettes halal; and if they hate cigarettes, they pronounce them haram,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She compares those who believe stabbings are prohibited under Islam to defenders of \u201canimal rights \u2013 not human rights, but at best, animal rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me tell you, even animals would not object to this if they could talk,\u201d she continues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody can feel the suffering of the Palestinian people but the Palestinians living in Palestine,\u201d Allan admonishes fellow Muslims. \u201cI wish that you would stop interfering. Spare us your views, and go back to watching Turkish soap operas.
