The Los Angeles Police Dept. and the Mayor of Los Angeles have refused to answer questions about the last wishes of two LAPD officers killed in the line of duty, and whether or not those wishes were carried out at their official funerals.<\/p>\n

“There is no way to answer that question,” LAPD spokesman John Romero told The Enterprise Report last week, citing a variety of privacy rules and laws that may apply to an officer’s personnel records, even after death.<\/p>\n

At issue are copies of a form held in the officers’ files, called a “15.7,” that enables officers to spell-out specific requests should they be killed in the line of duty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
