On the third hour of his radio show Thursday<\/a>, Dennis Prager said: "The dominant feature of my radio show is to put truth above everything else."<\/p>\n

From PragerRadio.com<\/a>: "Dennis talks to Joe Bastardi, the chief hurricane and long range meteorologist at Accuweather.com about the issue of global warming, also known as climate change." <\/span><\/p>\n

Joe: "The Vikings were raising grapes in Newfoundland in the 11th Century. I’d like to ask Vice President Al Gore if he’d like to go in with me in starting a vineyard on Newfoundland. If it’s going to get so darn warm, we’re going to be pressing grapes in Newfoundland again."<\/span><\/p>\n

Dennis: "Just the other day, I had some Newfoundland chardonay."<\/span><\/p>\n

Joe: "If you tripled carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, it probably wouldn’t mean anything at all."<\/span><\/p>\n

"When Detroit brought people the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West, sulfur dioxide… You notice there are no more smog days in Los Angeles? They’re rare now. There used to be 160 smog days a year in Los Angeles. Now there are two or three. When they got rid of sulfur dioxide, they said, ‘Oh, CO2 is where we have to go.’"<\/span><\/p>\n

Dennis: "I wouldn’t care about this…except policy is being shaped [to fight global warming]. A half billion dollars is being spent on global warming [research the new stimulus bill]. This belief which I believe is untrue and is politically and panicly inspired, is causing massive changes. There are consequences to the belief in Global Warming."<\/span><\/p>\n

Joe: "California gets more rain when the earth is warming. When the earth is cooling it is cooling because of cooling in the Pacific which we are having now and will have for the next 20 or 30 years…"<\/span><\/p>\n

Dennis: "Please understand the astonishing ability of the Left to corrupt the science. Global Warming tends to be a liberal-conservative issue. One of us should lose a lot of credibility. The world economy rides on whether or not we take the Kyoto Protocols seriously. There have been beliefs about the end of the world throughout history."<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
