When Guru Singh<\/a> walks past you, he says, "Love you."<\/p>\n

In his latest lecture, he explained how this means something different from "I love you."<\/p>\n

He was responding to those who think, "How can he love me? He doesn’t even know me."<\/p>\n

Guru Singh says we’re all swimming in a sea of love.<\/p>\n

I don’t think he knows my estuary.<\/p>\n

I ran into a Jewish woman in yoga the other day who says that listening to Guru Singh has freed her from the restraints of Judaism. While not Orthodox, she used to be quite observant. She used to keep kosher, for instance. Since listening to the Guru, however, she’s found a different path to spirituality.<\/p>\n

"It’s easier," she explains.<\/p>\n

"Not as many rules," I note.<\/p>\n

Guru Singh has been working us on the lower triangle — various stretching exercises — so we don’t fall off our spiritual journeys in the reckless pursuit of money, lust and power.<\/p>\n
