* Cubans in Miami have always looked down on \u201cAnglos\u201d as well \u2013 the same Anglos who took them in when they had nowhere else to go. Even the white(r) ones.<\/p>\n

White(r) Cubans who look down on blacks are not white supremacists; they are Cuban supremacists. They feel no kinship with other whites.<\/p>\n

In many ways, what happened in Miami was a preview of what is happening everywhere in this country today. Americans generously let foreigners into America; the foreigners manipulated the system to their benefit, took over, and screwed the native-born Americans.<\/p>\n

And, yes, many Cubans do hate Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, and anyone else who isn\u2019t Cuban. The hatred is often mutual.<\/p>\n

The idea that Mexicans in Los Angeles will vote for a Cuban from Miami because he is \u201cHispanic\u201d would be utterly laughable, if so many ignorant folks didn\u2019t take it seriously.<\/p>\n

When Mexicans say \u201cLatino,\u201d they mean \u201cMexican.\u201d Rubio is not one of them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
