Most Jews don’t keep Torah. What else will they be able to say? Even people raised religious can have the status of anus or tinok she-nishbah. R. Chaim Brisker said that emunah begins where proof (i.e., evidence) stops. But I don’t think the beit din on high will be asking such questions.
