On the other hand, they are very depressing. Russia is a ruined nation, so much so that hot young white women in Siberia are marrying Chinese men to provide them with food and shelter, as the Russian men are busy drinking themselves to death and are not economically productive. A stronger leader would have held the USSR together and followed the Chinese model of strong central control to make the shift over to free enterprise.
