DallasNews<\/a>:<\/p>\n Deadspin published a detailed account of the case Friday along with a gallery of photos that show the various injuries Nicole Holder suffered to her back, legs, foot, arms, neck and chin that evening in Charlotte a year-and-a-half ago.<\/p>\n Here’s a sample of national reaction to the Hardy story:<\/p>\n Christine Brennan of USA TODAY Sports invited fans to examine the photos of Hardy’s ex-girlfriend published by Deadspin, and then provide an explanation as to why he should be allowed to play another down in the NFL.<\/p>\n Brennan also referred to the Ray Rice video, advocating for a similar effect on Hardy’s career as that video had on Rice’s.<\/p>\n Brennan wrote:<\/p>\n “Let’s hope the release of these photos will do what the NFL could not do: punish Hardy as he should be punished, by losing his career for good.<\/p>\n Why does it take pictures to wake us up to what we already should have realized?”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I’ve seen the pictures.
