I just can&#8217;t figure it out.<\/p>\n<p>From LATimes.com: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It\u2019s hard to know exactly what\u2019s going on with the numbers, Howard said. \u201cWe gotta dig deep to figure out what\u2019s at play.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I went to Wikipedia and looked at <A HREF=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iowa#Demographics\">Iowa&#8217;s racial demographics<\/a>: &#8220;According to the 2010 Census, 91.3% of the population was White (88.7% non-Hispanic white), 2.9% was Black or African American, 0.4% American Indian and Alaska Native, 1.7% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 1.8% from two or more races. 5.0% of the total population was of Hispanic or Latino origin (they may be of any race).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps that has something to do with Iowa&#8217;s high graduation rate?
