I went to Wikipedia and looked at Iowa’s racial demographics<\/a>: “According to the 2010 Census, 91.3% of the population was White (88.7% non-Hispanic white), 2.9% was Black or African American, 0.4% American Indian and Alaska Native, 1.7% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 1.8% from two or more races. 5.0% of the total population was of Hispanic or Latino origin (they may be of any race).”<\/p>\n

Perhaps that has something to do with Iowa’s high graduation rate? White and East Asians tend to graduate from high school, blacks and latinos struggle to graduate from high school.<\/p>\n
