{"id":7561,"date":"2008-12-14T15:22:38","date_gmt":"2008-12-14T23:22:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=7561"},"modified":"2008-12-14T16:15:18","modified_gmt":"2008-12-15T00:15:18","slug":"it-takes-a-lot-of-effort-to-keep-this-show-on-the-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lukeford.net\/blog\/?p=7561","title":{"rendered":"It Takes A Lot Of Effort To Keep This Show On The Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While I am typing this worthy post, I am simultaneously rubbing my sore right foot (plantar fascitis) over a tough black ball to break up fascia.<\/p>\n<p>Every few minutes, I get up and doing stretching exercises to help my heel spurs.<\/p>\n<p>Then I lean against my fridge and do squats to build up my knees.<\/p>\n<p>At night, I strap on splits on my feet (for my heelspurs) and pop in a mouth guard to reduce the damage from my tendency to grind my teeth.<\/p>\n<p>I get acupuncture twice a week and take Alexander Technique lessons and go to two sessions of therapy every week to keep myself pointed towards due north.<\/p>\n<p>I drink bitter Chinese tea daily.<\/p>\n<p>Life seems to get harder as you get older.
