Meanwhile if the father did what he should rightfully do and handled the problem with a shotgun, he\u2019d be facing the wrath of the Powers That Be.<\/p>\n

\nNext thing you know, they\u2019ve made the place their own (and not in a good way).<\/p>\n

* Black bears are both kind of timid and don\u2019t like trouble, but they are also drawn to human luxuries. If you were sleeping in a tent with a hamburger next to your sleeping bag for a midnight snack, a mountain lion probably wouldn\u2019t tear open your tent to get it. They don\u2019t like anything associated with people. A black bear might well invade your tent.<\/p>\n
