Don&#8217;t show off your body if you don&#8217;t want guys staring. I often see professional women wearing ridiculously short skirts and then tugging them down all our therapy session. Don&#8217;t wear clothing that sexualizes you if you don&#8217;t want that attention. Don&#8217;t act and speak in ways that sexualize you if you don&#8217;t want that attention. <\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/grade-point\/wp\/2015\/06\/02\/advice-to-young-scientists-dont-worry-about-adviser-peering-down-your-shirt\/?hpid=z4\">WP<\/a>: It\u2019s safe to say that Science Magazine\u2019s career-advice column doesn\u2019t usually scorch up the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>But a well-known molecular biologist and senior faculty member at Caltech touched a raw nerve when a young researcher asked for advice about handling her adviser\u2019s repeated attempts, whenever they met in his office, to peer down her shirt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs long as your adviser does not move on to other advances, I suggest you put up with it, with good humor if you can,\u201d wrote Alice Huang, a regular columnist for Science, whose profile says she has always advocated for women in the field.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ladies, it does not seem complicated to me.
