I have this anecdotal impression of various young male latinos getting nailed running across freeways while high just as I have an anecdotal impression of Chinese students getting killed<\/a> by blacks outside USC. <\/p>\n

In both circumstances, I have the impression that the victims did not understand the danger they faced (for latinos, it was the power of the drugs, and for the foreign Chinese, it was not realizing how dangerous the streets are around USC). <\/p>\n

From the Los Angeles Times<\/a>: “A 19-year-old UC Berkeley student who went missing early Saturday near USC was struck and killed on the 10 Freeway, authorities said Monday after linking the two incidents.<\/p>\n
