Author Greg Critser got the stimulus to lose a ton of weight and to write a book on fat because as he was leaving his car one day, somebody yelled at him, “Get out of the way, fattie!”<\/p>\n
As Dennis Prager says, we’re not doing fat women any favors by only telling them how wonderful they look. Fat shaming has its place.<\/p>\n
NYDailyNews.com<\/a>: A Facebook page titled “530 Fatties” is drawing outrage after fat-shaming overweight or obese people in a California community.<\/p>\n The page, which labeled itself an “entertainment service” out of Yuba City, was reportedly taken down Monday after growing anger and upset while showcasing photos of people without their permission.<\/p>\n “Janyo is Japanese for makes you fat,” reads one photo showing a family dining inside a frozen yogurt caf\u00e9 on June 27.<\/p>\n A screen grab of the page taken by CBS Sacramento blurred out the family’s faces.
