A woman tells me: The only people who have been hired in my company are hispanic and asian. The only white person we got is a woman, so that makes it acceptable. We hire minorities. For a while black people were getting hired a lot but now it shifted to women, especially hispanic women and asians. Good luck being a white man trying to get a job here. And this is because the largest portion of our clients are hispanic and their parents need Spanish speaking advisors. Several are “dreamers” (dream act students) who I hate to tell them they are not going to be eligible for any assistance.
