There is much to admire in the life success of Oliver Cromwell<\/a>. He was a nobody who ended up running all of England. Hope for the nobodies of the world.<\/p>\n

A friend responds that she doesn’t like Oliver Cromwell. “He was a fanatical dictator. Enslaved the Irish merely because of their religion, barred theater because of his beliefs, he killed King Charles II. And so on. My family records indicate the Chowell family lived in England during and before his time. His son was an incompetent. Once he died, the royalist brought in Charles II and placed him into power, they exhumed Cromwell’s body and found him guilty of regicide and beheaded his corpse. They also executed those involved in the killing of Charles I.”<\/p>\n
