If you need to sit with your arms crossed, you can do it in a way that is more expansive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The high power poses are quite masculine and the low power poses are more common for females.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Robert: &#8220;By having your legs apart and your hands on your hips, it raises your internal <A HREF=\"http:\/\/upwithgravity.net\">center of gravity<\/a> and the shrinking version lowers your internal center of gravity. I would imagine that anything you do to raise your center of gravity would [empower you], even having your hands on your head or bending your knees or having your feet apart.
