I got to know a few of them and they were a very, very impressive bunch of people.<\/p>\n<p>Also, I suspect that they and their less prosperous but still scary smart Hungarian counterparts were among the smartest people humanity has ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>So Europe traded away these people for Muslims and Africans.
